"I hate to leave this review mostly I don't like to complain when it comes to doctors offices&medical staff&stuff because I know it can be overwhelming and it's not an easy job to do but I just CAN NOT recommend someone using this office as their OB/GYN. Obviously it's a different experience for everyone but it was very negative for me, not only one time but several times. I feel like every appointment was rushed. I am extremely busy with all my kids I have a Special-needs child so it's hard for me to make appointments for Myself when my kids come first. He seemed annoyed with me when I didn't get tests done in the time he wanted instead of being understanding ...I cannot make appointments available when I'm free. All I can do is take appointments that are available the time I'm available. I got told by one of the ladies that answered the phone that I can come to my appointment as long as I don't miss my grace period It was pouring rain I was in pain could barely walk I was 9 months pregnant. It was a very bad day I could barely see in front of my face that's how bad the rain was coming down when she said that it had ruined my day more. My mood ruined I cried because I was in pain &having a rough time already and that just topped it off & these are supposed to be positive experiences. Not only did the doctor miss the birth of my child. He's strongly encouraged me to be induced when I didn't want to on top of that when I went to make my postpartum appointment I was extremely busy so I had to reschedule I got sick. I had a fever I had conjunctivitis in both eyes my throat was swollen. I was in pain, my eyes were extremely irritated could barely swallow was stuffy sweating coughing sneezing lost taste and smell I was just miserable keep in mind all this while I have a newborn. I called on the weekend at night didn't get a return phone call i was like ok well tomorrow since it was already night so I called the next day and I kept calling because I was miserable and I needed advice about medication i had to walk into an urgent care because it got that bad I never got a call back. The answering service told me when they actually got a hold of him. He refused to take down my number and refused to help me and he hung up on them ,he never contacted me at all not on Monday not the next week I have never been so disrespected by a medical professional before . All this made my pregnancy and the birth and the aftercare very depressing for me and that's not what a mother needs. If this was the only obgyn in this whole area I would literally travel takes a lot to make me that unhappy. I always try to be very understanding but that was just the last straw."

"Dang i wish i had read these reviews before i booked! I had a not so great experience. First off wasn’t greeted in a friendly positive manner that should have been red flag number one. Then they give you forms to fill out and 5 out of 10 sheets is redundant because it asks the same exact question over and over again. Then waited to be seen 45 min later all i could hear was laughing and giggling the entire time i waited. The woman who took my blood pressure was ok but the machine they used to take blood pressure (I’m use to staff doing that manually) anyway that machine made the cuff so tight it felt like my arm was going numb and she did it about 5 times. My arm was literally bruised after she removed the cuff. I have never ever seen my arm bruised after getting blood pressure. When i went back the same woman asked me questions literally asking the exact same questions that were on the paperwork i just spent 10-15 min completing before being seen. Then when the doctor came in he wasn’t nasty or rude or anything but definitely could use a course on bedside manners. I mean it’s already enough coming to a new doctors office you think they be happy to greet you and welcome you to have you as a patient. Well nope it was very cut to chase why are you here let’s hurry this up. I saw the doctor for less than 5 min before i was being walked to check out. They don’t do blood work there. They gave me paperwork to go to lab corp which for someone like me that requires missing more hours at work to go to yet another appointment. I mean it’s in a convenient location in Wilmington but you probably be better off going to planned parenthood or another doc unless your knocked up and need prenatal care close by."

"Dr Esaka is impatient, dismissive, always rushing, and just doesn't care about his patients. I informed him about reoccurring mc's and that I was concerned because I was pregnant again, he dismissed my concern and ended up mcing again . He ordered no tests, and no follow ups. He rushed my pap which was very uncomfortable and he made my husband leave the room b4 he started. I asked for an ultrasound to see if my baby was measuring where it needs to be but he refused. I will NEVER go back, and if you care about your health or your baby's health please save yourself from this office."

"I would NOT recommend going here. I had a pap test weeks ago and still have not been called about about a result. I called once and then was told the results were not in yet. Yet they were quick to send me the bill, which I will not be paying until I am given a result. I also ordered a new IUD and still have not received a call to come in a have it replaced. This is ridiculous and I will sue them if I have cervical cancer and wasnt able to find out, due to their negligence. Absolutely absurd!"

"I would give a zero if I could. How long should one have to wait to see a doctor if you are there on time? I waited more than an hour. Is that acceptable? If you are a professional woman, don’t waste your time. I was a new patient and was asked to come in early to fill out paperwork. My appointment was at 1:15PM and I got there at 1:00PM. The turning point was after I sat for over an hour and someone who came in was able to see the doctor before me. I went to the receptionist and asked for my paperwork back and left out. This office is not it."
