"Dr. Beck is an excellent doctor. She actually listens to you and your opinions/concerns on your treatment plan. She's very down to earth, friendly, and funny as well. I love how great she is with my kids too. I've never been to a doctors office that gets back to you so promptly or gets you in for appointments within a day or two of calling. I always recommend her to everyone that's looking for a PCP. I've been with her for over 10 years now and I'm dreading the day she retires because I know I'll never find another PCP like her."

"Dr.Bec dissed me and both of my children for my 3 year old missing her last set of shots without my knowledge, at a time we were grieving the tragic loss of my sons dad. Lowest form of human life would not recommend. To put this into perspective because I am my daughters care giver and she was dismissed due to a missed appointment, the dismissed me as well? Which understandable but my son has nothing to do with it being he’s 8 and was dismissed as well. I wasn’t aware any of us were dismissed until I called asked for them to be seen due to a cold & not until I called back the next day did they proceed to say “you guys are no longer patients” “did you try emergency care” like had I have known this when I called the first time I wouldn’t be sitting around waiting on a call or for a prescription to be called in! It was absolutely devastating and mind blowing being I’ve been a patient of hers for over 15 years. Absolutely would not recommend besides that the practice is small, staff aren’t welcoming at all & she doesn’t seem to care just quick to chalk up your condition to see the next patient"

"She was good... Until she wasnt. I was there for about 3 years. I was prescribed heavy medicine 3 years ago from Beck. Never aware of the effects it would take on me when it came time to come off of them. I was taken to the hospital by ambulance my blood pressure ( 30 yo f) was 160/90 out of no where for no reason. Upmc said I was having " anxiety" I followed up with Beck with my mother in the room and was placed on meds for a bleeding ulcer I never had. But before I left she said " I am crazy I am fine, it's anxiety " i knew what anxiety is and that something was serious but having no choice but to trust my Dr. I went home for my heart to race and my blood pressure to sky rocket again. ( after being on the medicine for a bleeding ulcer I never had) I went back to upmc ER to hear " your crazy" again. I went to Beck in tears begging someone help me this is not normal something is wrong. FINALLY after 2 visits to her and 3 er visits she finally had my thyroid checked and I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. A serious hyperthyroidism condition that if left untreated I could have died. I found out im pregnant next. Scary, high risk pregnancy so its time to come off of the benzos i was prescribed 3 years ago. She takes me from 1 mg 3 times a day to to less than one mg a day over night. Ive been sicker than a dog anxiety sky rocketing that is too big of a drop too quickly for a person whos body is already going thru the things mine has been. She says I need to come off them after my obgyn said they would need to drop down gradually. Not what Beck did. I called said I dont feel well this is too much of a cut too fast. She said this is what It is and thats that. . I then had to tell her if this wasnt taken care of and something happened to me or my unborn baby would Sue her office over this Coming off of benzos too quickly as i did can lead to seizure stroke and other health complications especially having a serious medical condition as graves disease She then told me to find a new doctor with all these problems at this time for something she did wrong. I would not refer her to anyone. Any doctor that leaves you to leave their office after saying "you are crazy" and Treats u that way is disgraceful. I am happily scheduled for my first new patient appointment elsewhere and with my previous experience it has to better than my experience with Beck. I would not choose this provider if you have any medical conditions. Not to mention the staff was always terrible."
