"My son hasn't gone here since 2018 but I just got a balance statement for 2023? This was my sons first AND ONLY daycare experience. It didn't take long for him to start reporting to me a little boy was hitting him. The daycare didn't tell me this and denied knowledge of it happening. Daily he would tell me this little boy with yellow hair hit him. My final straw was them making it a big deal when my son had enough and hit him back, they could report that to me. Low and behold a few weeks later the director comes into my work with her family and it was her little boy who was hitting him. Don't take your children here. Based off these other comments they still don't care about other people's children. I tell everyone I can not to go here."
"The staff in the infants room treated my daughter amazingly. The director is the worst person I've ever dealt with. After my daughter transferred to the toddler room, she was coming home with bruises. The last bruise she got, there was no incident report filed so I contacted the director. The director was very strict and stern insisting my daughter didn't get hurt there and that because nothing was reported, then nothing must of happened. The director actually paused my childcare after finding out I contacted the authorities about my child being hurt. Thankfully my employer was understanding of the situation and I was able to keep my Job. After a couple of weeks of waiting to hear back from Childline (who reviewed footage) it was confirmed my child did in fact get hurt there but the teachers were pre occupied which is why nothing was reported. I never received an apology from the director and how rude she was in this situation. My daughter lost her very first friend's she ever made in her little life and she won't see them again, and it breaks my heart. Had she handled this differently, my daughter would still have her friends. My suggestion, never again tell a Mother she is wrong about her child being hurt."
"Childcare staff are great, recent management changes to tuition rates appear unreasonable. A warning to all current and future part time clients. Recent increases in part time day care rates, particularly a 51% increase in two day a week part time daycare rates, seem to be their way of opening up positions for full week daycare clients (who received no tuition increase) by driving out part time clients or their way to force part time clients into paying for unneeded full time care. Which they can do at any time due to their policies. A better alternative to combat rising economic prices affecting all businesses would have been an overall increase across all tuition categories (between 15 -18%) rather than targeting part time clients but it is apparent that is not how they prioritize care. For other current part time clients it's easy to work out they are now charging a 2 day client for 3 days at the full time rate and a 3 day client would only need to pay one more day at the 3 day rate to get a full week of care. It saddens me that they would choose this course of action against clients that are fortunate enough to and want to spend the days of the week they can at home caring for their children. However it is their business and they may run it as they see fit. Just as it is the clients choice to take their business elsewhere as we have done."
"Our toddler has been going to LOLAs for over 4 months. He’s had a great experience with the teachers and students. We are so grateful to have a locally owned and operated child care center that truly cares about families."
"My sons been going to Lola's for about 2-3 months now and we both absolutely love it. They're very sweet, nice and very caring for their children like most schools should be. I love how they send updates through out the day on how your little one is doing . Lola's really does help me feel comfortable with my son being in their care. My son absolutely loves it, this is the first school he's actually gotten excited about going."
