"Customer service My wife and I are visiting from NY and decided to do a little shopping. Walking through the mall found the GUESS store. My wife fell in love with a shirt for me, and when she inquired about it she was told the mannequin had the only one that would fit me. We walked over and started to remove the shirt to bring it to the counter. One of the two girls working walked over with an angry approach saying she had to remove it. No issue there, until she said she had to add an anti theft device because I could walk out of the store with it. I am Hispanic, so am I being automatically labeled as a burglar because of my race, or are your staff members so untactful that do not know how to speak to customers. When I inquire why I was receiving that treatment again I was told with an attitude that I would take the shirt and run. I’m a forty year old man and not some kid. I work in a field where talking to customers and saying that right thing is essential to have good communication with clients. I felt mistreated and insulted and immediately told my wife to leave all the items she was about to purchase and to leave. We will not buy anything from people who insult their customers. I hope you address your staff and correct their behavior as this will eventually hurt your business and your brand. Regards,"
"Store/location = great but...unprofessional employees - was in there a few weeks ago to buy something that was 40% off and when I got to the register to pay, it took off a fraction of that. When I asked the associate if this was correct, she told me yes and proceeded to pull out a calculator as further “proof”. She never showed me that it was validated and continued to go through with the purchase. When I questioned it again, she called over the store manager, who also had a similar attitude. As I was explaining the situation, the associate still went through with the purchase. The manager asked her why she did that and she shrugged. I then had to go through a refund process because of this, had they not already charged me, I would have walked right out. Mind you, there was no one else in the store, so not sure what the rush/issue was. Perhaps you should fix the system/point of sale so that 40% off means exactly that and does not leave the guess work of a calculator to figure it out. Had I not said anything, I would have been overcharged by $10. Wonder if this has happened to anyone else"
"I went to this store this morning absolutely horrible. I've never encountered such a cold experience in a store. Nobody greater me, I asked a question to one of the girls and got an eye roll. Then I was walking around with a bunch of things in my hands I had to walk all the way up to the front and asked for a fitting room to try things on. Instead of grabbing my hand full of clothes so I could continue to shop she made me walk all the way to the back with her and didn't even take the clothes from me. Despite all of that I did end up buying a few things. She was ringing me up a man asked her a question and she was very rude and answering I just think you need to hire better people with manners"
