"If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I was cold contacted by this agency and offered a rate that was half what I was paying with my insurer for the same coverage. Naturally I switched to Ogletree because it was a huge savings. That began a nightmare that took a year and a lot of money to fix. Basically once Ogletree has your business, they are done with you. For some reason they don’t open all of their mail, which caused problems for me when they were sent very important mail pertaining to my policy that I did not receive myself. Since Ogletree didn’t open the mail, I was never notified so I did not take the action needed in time and my homeowners insurance was canceled. The only way I found out that my insurance was canceled was when I received my premium back. I called Ogletree immediately and of course the agent who had aggressively sought my business was nowhere to be found, but the person who answered the phone made a flimsy excuse about them not making it a practice to go through all of their mail, which really wasn’t an acceptable answer. The sudden and unexpected cancellation of my homeowners insurance caused a host of issues that took a lot of time and money to fix, and in the end I paid significantly more than my original premium with my old insurer. In addition, when Anthony was seeking my business he was very responsive to my questions, however when I requested that he call me when this issue arose, I never heard from him. This was my first time ever working with an insurance agent and it will be my last. I had to call Nationwide myself to try to get things straightened out and the people I spoke to there told me that they never recommend that people go through an agent. I certainly wish I never had. Stay far away and obtain your insurance yourself unless you have time and money that you want to throw away."
