"The worst people I have ever dealt with. They talk to you with such disrespect and no humility. They inform you 2 weeks before they are dropping you on insurance. I have 3 children and myself that were on it. I have bed epilepsy and medicine costs over 1500$. Sucks to have a disability because they say it’s not their problem. Their suggestion was I quit my job so I can reapply which would take months or pay for a new insurance provider. They are terrible people, and I wish the same for them as they wished for me. I can’t get over the amount of bad reviews I’m reading. What you guys put pregnant people thru, sick people , disabled people. What a shame ."
"Like other people on here, I'm having difficulty with my son's insurance. I now find out (less than a week before his surgery) that they won't even look at his application until after the time his surgery is scheduled for. No one is on the same page. No one knows what's going on. And maybe 1 person that works here understands what good customer service is and empathy for those who are having difficulties. If you have another choice - take that insurance and do not apply for NJ Family Care"
"The worst company ever. Medical emergency case takes two months to process and still no answer. I am 13 weeks pregnant and have not received any prenatal medical care yet thanks to this company. Doctors refuse to see me without insurance. I have sent my peperwork back in August, before I got pregnant. In October, five weeks into my pregnancy, I called to check on status of my case. Was told I have not sent all required documents. After several calls and hours wasted on the phone, they finally said there was an error and I did in fact send all paperwork. On October 15th the said they gonna put my case on “high medical emergency” and I need to wait 30 days to have it processed. After over a month waiting I was told that my case was put on medical emergencon NOVEMBER 17!!!! Than they sent me a letter askin for documents I have already submitted! When I called, lady said I don’t need to resubmit them as she confirmed all the documents were in the system and I was told to wait a week for an answer.Haven’t heard anything for couple of weeks and when I called again lady said that I need to send them same paperwork again! I did, weeks of silence! No one there knows anything, representatives are zero help. Asked for someone in charge, was sent to voicemail, never got call back. Been trying to reach my “case manager” nancy c for a month now. Left multiple voicemails, no response. At this point I think this person does not exist. My case got zero progress, they never answer the phone, send me straight to voicemail and never call back. I don’t think it’s right to put pregnant women through so much stress and delay their medical care."
"Here's NJ Family care hiring requirements. Are you ghetto? YES Do you have a nasty attitude? YES Are you unprofessional? YES Excellent you're hired. My coverage got terminated because I didn't get my renewal form in the mail.. I asked twice for them. Never received it until August 25, 2023 the form was dated April 19, 2023 saying I had till May 15th to return the documents they requested in April but didn't receive the forms until August. This place is joke. Not a single employee at this location gives a damn about their job."
