"I’m a cake freak and every year for my birthday my husband splurges and gets me a cake from an actual bakery, not the grocery store. This year he bought my 40th birthday cake from Marisol’s and we were extremely disappointed. It was about 6 inches high but only 1 layer so the outter parts of the cake were inedible they were so dry. For $90 he did not get what he paid for, it was decorated nicely but that’s about it. Cake itself tasted like it was from a box mix, frosting wasn’t much better but the worst part was how dry it was. We will not patron here again."
