Emergency Medicine Residency

The Emergency Medicine Residency program at 230 McKee Place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading institution in the field of emergency medicine. With a focus on research, education, air medical transport, and quality care, the Center for Emergency Medicine is a multi-hospital consortium that includes prestigious institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Shadyside and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

For over 40 years, the Center has been at the forefront of EMS education, training Paramedics and EMTs from around the world. The faculty at the Center have extensive experience teaching both nationally and internationally, and have been involved in projects such as the development of the National Standard Curriculum and the creation of a Bachelor's of Science in EMS at the University of Pittsburgh.

In addition to offering comprehensive training programs, the Center also provides AHA Healthcare Provider CPR courses for healthcare professionals in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh, including nurses, physical therapists, and patient care technicians.
