"This bar was located inside the hotel downstairs hanging out while I was in DC on January 26th of this year. As typical for the area, it was very expensive for the food that I got and the food was a little too artistic for me. I ordered their shredded beef nachos, and I don't know where they got the idea that chips needed to be anything other than corn chips, but they had a weird whole wheat layer of strips in there that were not good and they were very salty. Salty. I also ordered two chicken tacos and the total was $30. Little more than I wanted to spend based on the quality of the food that I got. Honestly, I don't think I would eat here a second time. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible"
"An excellent small hotel bar, proudly serving drinks and food for hotel guests and visitors. It's not a very crowded place as far as I can see, only a few patrons on a Sunday night, with plenty of seating at tables and at the bar. Food selection is typical American fare with seasonal specialties. I ordered the chicken tacos and the summer lager, they were pretty good, especially for the price. The staff was friendly, and there was prompt service."
