"I came in for the first time I would say 3-4 months ago and was given medication for my menstrual cycle. What they gave me helped soooo much and I honestly appreciate it. They took their time to listen to my needs. Thank you Ms.Kristin and team!"
"If you can, avoid this place. It is one of the worst medical establishments I’ve ever been to. Aside from the actual doctors, the entire medical staff is incompetent and lazy. Their check-in and check-out process is so disorganized and propelled by the staff all preferring to sit and type away on their computers. Type what, you ask, God knows, because it took *one nurse 30 minutes to send me my lab orders via email. I had to drive to the office (from labcorp, which I was early for that appointment) and get my *printed lab orders..only to be told that they have *never* been able to send lab orders electronically. Also, that Dr.Youssef always prints it. Why this information wasn’t relayed during my visit, or the three times I called, is beyond me. I’ve wasted leave, gas, and money at this place ~ please save yourselves the trouble!!"
"The front desk is absolutely awful. There's one girl in particular that is very abrupt and dismissive. They don't pick up calls. There's times where I have been very ill and it goes straight to a voicemail that's full."
"I feel compelled to give this practice a 5 star review. I took my mom, who is visiting from oversees and has no insurance, after she started complaining of severe shoulder pain. We saw Dr. Nathan Shapiro, who gave her a corticosteroid injection and a prescription for pain medicine and refilled her regular medications. Dr. Shapiro is an old fashion new York doctor who is competent and compassionate, once you manage to get past his New York rough edge. He is prompt in responding and returns his own calls instead of relaying messages through medical assistants, which is refreshing. The staff has been amazing and responsive. We needed copies of my mom’s x-rays and we were able to pick them up the same day. Since we were self paying, they gave us a significant discount on our bill which covered the cost of the blood tests, X-rays and injection. I do recommend this practice, especially if you don’t have insurance. Since they have a lab and X-ray in the practice, you won’t have to deal with multiple billers."
"I started visiting this office for allergy treatment when Dr. Kaufman worked there. She is spectacular and has opened a great office in McLean - anyone seeking allergy treatment in this region should go there. After Dr. Kaufman left, I continued receiving my allergy shots at Beauregard because it is significantly closer to my home. Recently, I caught a technician before they were about to make a very serious dosing error that likely would have sent me to the hospital. I immediately switched to Dr. Kaufman's new office. Unfortunately, that was not the first mistake I had caught a technician in the middle of making, but it was the most serious. The problem at Beauregard is that they use outdated systems for tracking and recording allergy treatments, and some of the technicians seems to be too complacent and are simply getting sloppy in their work. Another issue is that the office itself is run down and requires everyone to go up and down the same skinny hallway -- feels like a miracle that I never contracted COVID there. My urgent advice to management is to upgrade its systems, have a serious conversation with its technicians, and consider renovating the office so that patients flow through one end to another rather than constantly surrounding each other. Until these change are made (especially those regarding the technicians' practices and behavior!) I could never recommend this office to anyone - it's just not safe."
