"I came here referred by a friend and was really excited to have a hyper-pigmented spot treated with a Pico laser. This was a spot I have had treated in the past with other lasers that would remove the spot, but after some time it would return. After taking pics and reviewing my skin I was advised that they could treat me and Pico was the best option as I am Puerto Rican an have medium toned skin. It seemed like she knew what she was taking about as I worked for a dermatologist and she advised me to request the Pico for the same reasons. She (I can not remember her name at the moment) advised that the spot treatment was $150 and then went and asked a very nice girl at the front desk to double check the price and she came back and corrected her and said the spot treatment was $350 dollars! $350…. For a spot! I was shocked, but wanted to have the spot treated as it is something I am highly self conscious about. Again, other treatments I had completed would removed the lesion within a week or so and then after a few months it would return, so I figured to have it go away completely for $350 was worth it. After a painless procedure, I went to the front desk, paid and scheduled a 4 weeks follow up. Well 3 weeks after my appointment, the spot on my face still looked the same. I compared it to photos I took prior to coming in and it had not changed in size, shape or color! I was so upset that nothing had changed after spending so much money. When I called and complained that I was upset over my lack of any results, I was asked if I wanted to cancel my next appointment due to my lack of satisfaction with my results. I was floored that I wasn’t offered an earlier follow up to assess the lack of change and/or offered another treatment with a discount or something? No, also o was not offer to speak to the provider who had preformed the treatment or given a follow up phone call after I canceled my appointment out of pure frustration. It has been over a month since this happened and I still am so upset that I am still trying to save money for another treatment somewhere else and am so self conscious everyday. It just makes me so angry that I spent $350 dollars on a laser treatment that did nothing. If you are thinking about going her for any dark spot treatments and you have skin of any color , do not go here. Save your money and research a derm that is versed on lasers, settings and knows what they are doing."
