"I went for my annual physical that was covered by my high deductible HSA plan. My previous physicians had seen me without charges, as routine physicals are a covered benefit. Here, I was DOUBLE BILLED and when I called to report this situation, the receptionist said the physician could have charged me for 3 complaints!!! Rather than get sent to collections, I just paid it but caveat emptor! I understand that primary care is not a lucrative field if you participate in insurance, but this is clearly shading the rules of coverage. BTW, Dr. Plotsky is retiring so even the name is inaccurate."

"Good doctor. The office, however are incompetent at best, thieves at worst. Paul Thorn was great. He went the extra mile to find the cheapest pharmacy to send medications and to check if there are coupons available for meds. Unfortunately, refilling prescriptions with them is challenging. The staff are rude on a good day, and make multiple costly mistakes in submitting refills. The support staff delivers on about 30% of what they say they will do. Getting them to fix these mistakes has taken an exceptionally long time. Then, when the prescription refill specialist "corrected" the mistake while I was on the phone with her, she still sent it to the wrong pharmacy! I only learned of this when I arrived at the pharmacy - the pharmacy was able to correct it this time, but it still managed to waste another hour of my time. Their pay-by-phone system for their bills does not work. And their phlebotomist is a separate business in the same office, with a different software system that kept crashing, and who also got my insurance wrong. UPDATE: When I called the office to resolve the balance on my account (since their pay-by-phone system doesn't work), they accidentally charged me twice. On the phone they said they just took the 2nd charge off, but it might take 3-5 days to process. 3 weeks late, it was still on my credit card statement, with no refund processed."
