"If you like oysters, seafood and just good food in general, True Chesapeake is a must try. We shared the Spaghetti with clams included (pictured on the left) and the French Onion Oysters (right) for starters. They were both incredible. Then at the suggestion of our waiter had the Burger for dinner. And I must say, it was very good. The Fried Pickles and egg on top brought the extra flavor. The blue crab Mac and Cheese as a side and the roasted cauliflower were spot on! We will be back!"

"This is a fantastic place if you are in the mood for oysters. It is also beautiful. We loved most of our brunch /lunch. The dozen Chincoteague oysters were delicious as were my oyster stew and the breakfast platter. The two items that were disappointing were the tasteless potatoes on the breakfast platter and the bread pudding. Otherwise, everything else was great including our drinks, the Bloody Mary and kir royal."

"We came here for brunch and were blown away by how beautiful the space was. A historic building turned into the perfect restaurant with a variety of seating a mind beautiful oyster shell bar. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, the Bloody Mary (with a crab cake and oyster on it), and also the Maryland blue crab eggs Benedict at the owners recommendation. Everything was incredible, I cant imagine getting better cooked seafood anywhere else. I’ll be bringing back all my friends for dinner and drinks the next chance I get"

"Loved it! Ate here at the bar before the weekly jazz performance next door and honestly, lost all interest in the music one we started eating and chatting. Was able to catch the last bit of happy hour which knocked a couple bucks off the drinks and fries. As a vegetarian, I usually don't give seafood places a chance, but there were a couple vegetarian small plates that I'd gladly come back for despite not being able to eat much else on the menu. The staff at the oyster bar and regular bar were friendly, charming people and the Os game was playing on the big screen. It was a perfect combination of everything you need for a chill night out."
