"They did nothing and collected $225. Why would you someone charge that much if you can't even diagnose what was wrong with the car! Thry came, took my car to their workshop, the man kept googling to know what went wrong. In the end, I had to drive my car with stiff steering for the next 5 hours. No empathy at all. I wonder why a person would be peaceful to collect 225 dollars just for bringing a car to their workshop and they couldn't do anything to fix it. Shame!"

"Liars Cheats and Thieves !!! DONT LET THE CROCKED POLICE CALL THESE THIEVES FOR YOU! They hooked a chain to my truck and dragged it 6 feet then charged me $2500.00…!!! 10 minutes later…!!!! I was caught on my landing gear at Wilkes Barre Sam’s Club truck entry, the police called them, not me, so I felt safe using them. But, When I repeatedly asked for a pricing schedule they repeatedly refused to produce one. When I refused to pay until they demonstrated this was their standard rates and not just a random Price gouge rip off number…they got pushy and mouthy with every type of foul language and started to try and tow my truck away. I called the police for protection but they called first so when the police arrived one second later, it was the same cops that summoned these shady skumbags in the first place… Police simply informed me that they would arrest me if I didn’t pay them immediately as per PA law. (There’s no such law… you cannot be arrested for unpaid debt …especially without an agreement) So I quit as soon as I knew i was royally screwed and paid. I checked with the Wilkes Barre police department… they refused to hear my complaint… they’re shady at best I bet they’re getting kickbacks… Taking advantage of people in distress is one of the most vile wretched low down worthless wimpy greedy skum things a person can do. Not even a speck of moral character here. Don’t let them pull the same scam on you."

"They DO NOT deserve even one star. The employees are rude and disrespectful. Even after you pay the outrageous fee they still do not release your vehicle. They tell you to wait till someone gets there to get it. If your car gets impounded make sure you take an attorney with you. Wilkes-Barre township police will not do anything about them holding your car. TAKE AN ATTORNEY WITH YOU!"

"While on a trip to N.Y. from Texas, my car broke down on I-81. I had my daughter and 1 year old granddaughter with me and it was 2am. Terrifying! The people at ACT were phenomenal! They had us towed and safe in less than 10 minutes. We needed a hotel and was given a ride there...what other shop would do that???? We were taken where the car would be worked on, told EXACTLY what was wrong and given an accurate time frame of when the work would be done. How do I know what was wrong EXACTLY? I do most of the work on my car but didn't have the proper tools to replace my driveshaft figuring it would hold until we got to N.Y. (I'll never do THAT again) They were truthful and up front from the very beginning! I'm really glad they're 24 hours and as friendly and professional as they were. We were made to feel comfortable and safe and that meant the world to us. If I should ever go through PA along 81 again and have the misfortune of another vehicular mishap, I know who I'll be calling!"
