"I visited with Dr Newman 3 times so far. I found his understanding, and his ability to assess and relay complex information about the brain and the mind to be remarkable. His work and manner with patients is exceptional. I’m truly grateful for the referral to his practice. Mrs. Newman’s presence in the office adds a lot of comfort. Her genuine intelligence and compassion for the patients adds so much to this practice."

"I wish that I never walked into his office. I trusted his expertise and solutions but ended with little to no improvements. My insurance covered services and I think the goal was to keep me coming back because of that. I also paid out of pocket for light therapy for “inflammation” and developed what I now understand to be sinus migraines. Also, the neurofeedback services caused cognitive fatigue and I was told this was due to the brain healing itself and that it would get better. It has not. It was always difficult to see or talk with Dr. Newman and he doesn’t respond to emails, often. I believe in the research and neurofeedback but I wouldn’t go to him."

"I have loved Dr Newman’s staff for a very long time! I have loved Dr Newman’s expertise related to my healing! This morning my perspective of his once inviting office changed in relation to a new member to his staff, Caroline. I was forced to listen to someone be argumentative, cancel my appointment and was not allowed to see/speak to Dr Newman by Caroline. I have NEVER had a conversation so unprofessional, inappropriate, and unethical until I spoke to Caroline! Caroline called to discuss an old copay which I found reasonable. I found it unreasonable she called 30 minutes prior to my appointment this morning?! Caroline has known about my appointment for weeks! After Caroline asked how I wanted to handle this old copay matter, I told Caroline I would speak to her after I spoke to Dr Newman. I felt this way being I was getting ready my Telehealth appointment which was in 30 minutes. I found it unprofessional this topic of discussion was done 30 minutes prior to my appointment this morning. Caroline would not respect my request. Caroline said my old copay does not have to be paid today but arranged before I can do my Telehealth appointment in 30 minutes?! I told Caroline this is rather unprofessional being my Telehealth appointment was in 30 minutes. I knew I simply wanted to check my finances after my Telehealth appointment with Dr Newman this morning. Caroline does not have the authority to not allow a patient to see the doctor especially if the patient may need to calculate for future treatments! I never refused to pay. Just needed to figure the arrangement right after my appointment. I also anticipated doing further treatment with Dr Newman because I was calling to discuss a brain issue that occurred weeks ago. Caroline was being forceful about setting up a payment plan by threatening me that I could not proceed with my appointment. Caroline continued to be combative. Speaking to me in a manner that is never appropriate in a medical setting. I tried not to allow her to bate me into a debate with her multiple attempts. No matter how many times I tried to reason with Caroline, she would not stop being combative! I requested to cancel my appointment and leave a message to speak to Dr Newman. Caroline threatened me by telling me there is a “cancellation fee” and told me “it is not going to happen” when I requested to leave a message with Dr Newman. I was so shocked Caroline felt she had the authority to dictate Dr Newman’s practice to this degree. I clarified she was not allowing me to leave a message for Dr Newman?! When she confirmed I requested several times while she was being combative to “cancel the appointment”. After repeating to Caroline “this is not a debate, cancel the appointment” while she continued to be argumentative. Caroline finally said ok I will cancel the appointment and told me “to go to the hospital!” prior to hanging up on me. The conversation went from me wanting to do my Telehealth appointment and check my finances to Caroline arguing the whole time and feeling she had the authority to dictate who speaks to the doctor or what a patient may do in relation to a simple phone message or canceling an appointment since she is failing to comprehend the unprofessional nature of her conduct. This is not the office I know to be. This is not the staff I know to be. Long term Caroline will cost Dr Newman not add abundance to his once beautiful practice. If Dr Newman is open to discussing further I am open but know I can not call because Caroline will answer the phone and not allow me to leave a message as if she has the authority to do so. She just does not want to be exposed for the true nature of her being."

"I’m sure Dr Newman is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he is also condescending and judgmental; something that one should never experience when seeking help. If you go to him for help, maybe it would be beneficial to have already attained a medical degree of some sort and also have an eidetic memory (or at least a very thorough log of everything you’ve ever experienced). Otherwise, you may experience the treatment I experienced when taking my daughter there. There were lots of questions that I couldn’t answer accurately. That part was my fault, I guess. One would think, however, that coming to a professional for help would have an indication of some level of concern rather than total indifference to the well-being of my child."
