"The following is based from my own experience and I hope that this information is found helpful to someone out there. Pros: -The initial process was smooth. The intake coordinator was friendly and helpful. She took the time to answer all of my questions and to help figure out what schedule and setting (home or daycare) would be best for our needs. Our daughter was 2yo at the time and we chose to have the sessions at her daycare in the beginning. -The daycare environment seemed to be too chaotic to gain my daughter’s interest/attention so I switched to home sessions (I was fortunate enough to telework). So behavioral framework was convenient in that sense to be able to accommodate different needs of our family. -Despite the turnover in RBTs and BCBAs, we were fortunate to have some wonderful people work with our daughter. We gained a lot of different perspectives and seen different techniques to figure out what works best for our child. -Having the sessions at home definitely made it convenient and our daughter was more comfortable with pairing because she was in a familiar environment. -For the most part the communication was open. I always was able to contact the BCBA and RBT if I had any concerns or questions about anything. I had good relationships and felt that comfort of being able to reach out for help when needed. -The trainings really helped me to understand ABA and how I can apply different strategies at home in order for my daughter to generalize what she’s learning outside of session as well as help her advance and reach goals sooner. Cons: - The only real con I can think of is the high turnover in RBTs and BCBAs. We received services from Behavioral framework for close to two years. My daughter had 3 different RBTs and four BCBAs. It was more frustrating in the beginning because I was new to ABA and the process. At the time it seemed as though just as we would be finishing pairing and moving onto goals we would have to change someone on our team. I was eager to get things going and as soon as I felt like we were getting somewhere we were almost starting over. I came to accept that it’s not fully starting over and really it was good for our daughter to interact and bond with different people. So I guess not really a con but something to keep in mind Overall, I gave five stars because of the progress my daughter has had. By the time we ended services with behavioral framework our daughter’s eye contact improved significantly, she responds to her name as well as several commands. She has learned how to request things using various methods (signing, visual (PECs), and verbal manding). Our daughter learned to play with different toys and how to use them functionally. We also tackled some challenging situations involving rigid behaviors and tantrums. There were so many changes and improvements in that period of time but those are the top ones for me. I will say, like all therapies you should give it a good try. Allow time to actually see progress. If the person who works with your child really does not seem like a good fit then ask for a replacement. I was fortunate that our last RBT, Casandra, was with our daughter the longest and was absolutely amazing. She was patient and really got to know our daughter and what approach worked best for her and when paired with some great BCBAs we saw amazing progress. I’m so grateful and appreciative for everything."
"We have had such a wonderful experience with Behavioral Framework. From the moment we called for our intake, to initiating ABA services, every single person we have spoken to has been so kind and compassionate. The BCBA and the team of staff we have worked with are all so genuinely invested in our child and his progress. They have taken the time to listen to us and prioritize the things important for our family. I had high expectations but they have gone above and beyond for us, even providing materials and a table for sessions. I also appreciate that even the BCBA’s supervisor calls to check in on us. We are so happy with their services and to finally be at a place where we feel our son is cared for!!"
"Family values are big for us, so it was pretty disheartening to learn about the associate clinical director who was charged with domestic violence related offenses. It raised concerns about not only whoever could be directly working on our child’s case, but whoever could be making executive level decisions on our child’s case as well. Your experience here will largely depend on who is working with your kid, so I’d recommend looking into the background of whoever is working with your child, just as a precaution. Some parents have had good experiences, others not so much, so make it a point to advocate for your child and not be treated like a cash-cow or a number. Edit: It looks like someone tried to flag my review and I’m not sure why. This is publicly available information and parents have a right to know to make an informed decision."
"This is by far the best ABA company I have encountered. As part of a military family, I have experienced ABA companies in several states. This company truly cares about their families, clients, and employees unlike any other I’ve come across. Not only do they have a fantastic mission, but they work passionately to support the whole autism community beyond their clients and families. Every Behavioral Framework employee I have met has been passionate about the work they do. If you are looking for an ABA provider that does more than “talk the talk”, look no more. Behavioral Framework is truly one of a kind!"
