Sonder The Heid

"This place was so much more than we expected in terms of an experience. Beautiful views (day and night) - prime location to explore everything that city of Philadelphia has to offer. There’s a wonderful cafe called the palm tree just a block away that’s super cost effective and friendly. As well as a parking garage right next to the cafe that we used for our weekend stay. Would recommend this place and any place Sonder has to offer. This is our 2nd stay with Sonder and both were beyond exceptional. We’ll be back again!"

"The apartment was great. Easy access to the all the touristy sites and very close to the terminal market. Very quiet location. Close accessible parking in at least 6 locations with a block or 2 from the Held. My only complaint is that I could not get the temperature above 70 digresses. Not a problem for sleeping. But a bit chilly for this 71 yr old. Wearing a sweater took care of the chill. I would highly recommend the Held to singles. couples & families."

"Stayed at Sonder the Heid for 3 nights. Room was clean and beautiful - the extra amenities which included washer/dryer and full kitchen were outstanding. Even better was they provided detergents and cleaning supplies. We took full advantage of the roof top (see image) but would have liked for it to be open earlier (hours are 9am - 8pm) so we could have enjoyed morning coffees overlooking the city. We enjoyed the walk-ability of the neighborhood and felt right in the middle of everything we wanted to do and see. China town, Reading Market, Museums are so close!! You can even conveniently book Ubers directly from the Sonder App when heading to a further attraction. The check in process was only slightly frustrating - totally my fault though. If you book a stay here, check your email (like they say) before arriving - it has all the information you need - if it’s your first time staying you will need to download their App and create a profile but it’s simple enough. I was just not prepared for it - so give yourself a bit of time to take care of that first and it’ll go smoothly!! 10/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - we will be staying here again!!"

"We had a 3 night stay in the middle of the week, and we’re excited to find a spot that was central to everything we wanted to see on our first trip to Philly. Based on our long list of must sees and our ability to fit it all in during our trip I would say the Heid is a great spot for anyone looking to be in a walkable location to the go to spots (do not skip on the Reading Terminal Market, 10 min walk). The rooftop had plenty of seating to enjoy a view of the city, and the on-site gym was a bonus. Security was always on site in the evening, and we never felt unsafe in the area. Our room was tidy and had all the amenities we were looking for. Everything we needed was thought of (extra towels, laundry soap) and then some (ear plugs, sound machine, although we didn’t need either). The room had plenty of storage either built ins and space for two to spread out comfortably. We had a concern come up with the bed being damaged and Sonder staff was responsive, working to make sure it was fixed. Overall, it was a great stay and I’m confident we’ll be staying with Sonder again soon!"

"Stayed here 2 times and both times were awesome. The apartments are fully furnished with full kitchen and washer dryer. Beautiful apartments love staying here and more affordable than a regular hotel believe it or not! Only wish the rooftop was open later"
