"The cherry basomic vinaigrette was amazing"
"I honestly didn't know that I needed to try this many olive oils or vinegars in my life until I stopped in here. I bought a Mediterranean olive oil, after trying a few, because I knew I needed it for my meals after tasting. My mother left with a bottle of sundried tomato vinegar, which was recommended my one of the workers, thankfully so, because my mother would NEVER try anything with the words "tomato" on the label. After the woman heard my mom talking about a salad she had once, and never found a vinegar with that flavor ever again, she stepped in and recommended the one my mother wound up leaving with. (a gray haired woman with short hair- very sweet & a huge help). It was like 2 days ago and my mother is still obsessed that she found the best vinegar ever. Lol."
"So the store is very cute despite being a little dated. Staff are confident and friendly and of course welcoming but it didn’t do it for me sadly. I purchased a jar of sauce which was apparently from Italy so I was excited to try it for dinner! I’ve been to Italy a few times and love fresh Italian sauce. However the $10 jar of sauce was the worset sauce I’ve literally ever had. Walmart brand out performs what I brought. Seriously. The sauce was very watery and tasted like a tin of plumb tomatoes was blended and put in a jar. The jar of olive oil was very nice though and it was garlic infused which tasted great but at $20 a bottle! Way way too expensive. I never tried the pasta at another $10 a pack as I didn’t want to spend $30 on what would have been a bad meal for 2 at home. I don’t want to give these guys 1 or 2 stars in spite of everything as they are trying to make a living so 3 stars is generous. These guys need to step up their product and bring the prices down otherwise they won’t get repeat customers because giant does the same products with double the quality for half the price. Sorry guys but disappointing."
"The products are very tasty and have interesting ingredients. But the woman in the there (particularly a short haired older lady) was pretty rude. After I tested the free samples and was going to leave, she made some remark about giving me a whole crate. Assuming since I tested out pretty much all the samples. If you didn’t want me trying the samples, why would you leave them for people to try. It’s called FREE samples for a reason, you old bat."
"I like the shop, arranged such that you can taste their merchandise, with bread sticks. They offer to mix things for you as well if you want. We got the black fig balsamic vinegar."
