"BEWARE of misleading information. I had sessions with Adaku Anike. Before starting any sessions I informed her of my insurance provider and needed assurance I was covered 100% before beginning. I provided my my insurance information and a copy of my insurance card. She also said I have to be seen every 2 weeks vs. the average 30 days. I tried to make a follow up appointment because she prescribed me medications and said I needed to be seen every 2 weeks, but has disappeared. She responded to an email saying I am not covered and I have to pay her out of pocket directly. She is now saying I am not covered by my insurance. I called my insurance and confirmed that she is in my network and it is 100% covered. They also informed me that she has entered all of the billings incorrectly and that's why it was declined, and she should be contacting the insurance billing directly and not forcing the patient to pay out of pocket directly. This has all been misleading information and seems like a scam to make more money directly. An investigation has been opened, but I also wanted to leave a review to make sure any other patients are not being taken advantage of."
