"The atmosphere was great, and our waiter was very enjoyable. We started with the Taffer's Taster, and it came out with four very tall drinks. Each one was beautiful, and they tasted so differently. We ordered food, and my salmon cakes were the best seafood cake I've ever had. The salmon cakes were buttery and savory, and they went great with the sauce. We ended up ordering more drinks, and every single drink that came out was a work of art, and they were each delicious. I would definitely come back here."

"Came here to see the Bar Rescue restaurant. Ambiance was great, food was incredible and staff was on point. We had a server take our order, multiple hosts/hostesses check on us and a food runner that was very friendly. Restaurant is adjacent to Capital One Arena. Great place to go before or after the Capitals game. Walking distance from the Smithsonian museums and a mile away from the White House/Washington Monument as well as the Capitol Building."

"Fans of the Bar Rescue series we wanted to see how a restaurant associated with John Taffer would compare to others. The restaurant has a great upscale Atmosphere with a clean modern look, offering upscale round booths for a sophisticated feel. We arrived early and were the second table after opening at 12, drinks seemed slow but when they arrived were well worth it. The Harvest Margarita was Amazing and the Prohibition was a decent second. We had the Onion Ring Appetizer, they seemed a bit crunchy which we described as slightly over cooked but still tasted good. The food was good, I would describe the two dishes as Pub Fare being sandwiches, burgers and the side being fries. Taffer’s BBQ Sliders were a great choice with the macaroni on top for a great change from the ordinary. The Cajun Ranch was an amazing side to go with the French fries. The Brunch menu “hangover” sandwich was underwhelming and would not be a desired item upon return. A request of Tater Tots instead of fries was forgotten and regular fries were provided with the sandwich but this was corrected quickly upon request without issue. In all the Atmosphere and Crafted Cocktails were the winners here and not the food. Prices on the food also seemed a bit high for Pub Fare. Will return for Drinks but probably not dinner. 2 crafted cocktails, onion ring appetizer, BBQ Sliders, and a Hangover Sandwich were a bit over $100 after tip."

"Just great food and drinks! Screens everywhere so would be a great place to watch a game. Wife had the Special drink flight and I had a great smoked old fashioned. Followed by French Onion Soup which was good. I always want more cheese and felt like there was a bit of depth missing but it was definitely serviceable. Wife got the salmon and she was very happy with her choice. I went with the Roast Beef sandwich and wow was it awesome! The Au jus was very beefy and good. Beef was tender and the bread was fresh and yummy. We ended the meal with the all in dessert which gets you the cream sandwich, lava cake on top and surrounded by the jelly donuts. Just WOW! All the flavors were great and as whole and separate. All in all great experience."
