"One of the worst therapists I have ever worked with. I first saw Rita in the beginning of 2005, for depression. She was difficult to talk to, not listening to what I was saying, and the space didn’t feel safe. She ended up being a recruit for a cult treatment center in Florida, called Choices Counseling Center. The center has no time frame for treatment, and the inpatients who become out patients then house the inpatients. I also slept on a sofa for 9 months, but paid the full price. A google search will bring up nightmare stories about the traumatic experiences several individuals have experienced at this center. Most everyone Rita works with is sent to this horrible facility. She has no empathy towards human beings. It is unfortunate though, because this center does accept insurance, and I have found the best residential treatment facilities do not accept insurance. She is a recruiter and should be disbarred. A very truly hateful and hurtful individual. Thankfully after her torment and being forcefully sent away to that center, I found great therapist in Boulder, CO, at AIM House. Although they do not accept insurance, they are a fantastic 6-9 month residential treatment center, specializing in depression as well as drug and alcohol treatment for young people. Today I have a fantastic relationship with my family and I am a productive member of society. I do however still have nightmares about the place Rita sent me."
