"I recently had the pleasure of discovering The Wurst in Baltimore, MD. This hidden gem is tucked away behind a fake walk-in fridge door on the second floor of CrossBar. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're transported back in time to the era of Prohibition. The ambiance of The Wurst is charming and cozy. The dim lighting, leather seats, and brick walls add to the speakeasy vibe. The bartenders are skilled craftsmen and their attention to detail is evident in every cocktail. The drinks were a twist on old favorites, with unique ingredients and flavor combinations that delighted my taste buds. What really stood out to me was the care and precision that went into each drink. The bartenders took their time to ensure each cocktail was well-crafted and delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a classic martini or something more adventurous, The Wurst has you covered. It's important to note that The Wurst is a small speakeasy, so it's best to arrive early to snag a seat. But once you're settled in, you'll enjoy a wonderful evening of delicious drinks and good company. I highly recommend The Wurst to anyone looking for a unique speakeasy experience in Baltimore."
"Awesome little speakeasy in the heart of Baltimore. The bartenders, atmosphere, and diverse drink offerings really make for a fun time away from the noisy bar setting."
"Great place to get a drink! The hidden location makes for a really unique experience wished there was a gew more cocktail varieties other than that Ill be trying them again sometime soon!"
"A great, great time! Kevin has done an awesome job with this spot and the vibe they're trying to create. Nestled in a biergarten, behind a freezer door on the second floor is this awesome speakeasy that really gives you the prohibition feelings. It's a narrow dim lit hall that opens up to the bar. The seating is great for the space they have and the tables at the front are great for a party of six. We had multiple rounds of drinks with the Gimlet being a major hit. The frothy egg foam top was just silky smooth. I also really enjoyed the spicy margarita, though I asked for mezcal in it. I will also say they made a very good negroni (always a good mark of whether a cocktail spot knows their ratios) All their mixers are fresh and the drinks are balanced extremely well. The one thing I will say is they need some sort of bouncer at the front of the door to control traffic, it's a nitpick but people were just crowding in the bar and the poor bartenders were getting super overwhelmed. All together, a great great spot. We went on night 2 and they were killing it."
