Rockfish Public House

"There's more good than "bad". Service was friendly and fast. Shrimp skewer with bbq sauce was very good. Blue oysters were good. Rockfish was very tasty except it unexpectedly had a spicy sauce on top. If I had known, would have asked for without it. The fish and chips...fried fish was mushy, indicating frozen fish. Not what you would expect from a place like this or at that price. Overall meal, for the price, it's a fair deal generally with some positive surprises and a couple not so positive."

"This was my second time eating here and the food was good both times. The drinks are really good. They have different versions of old fashions that taste great. It's a laid-back, sports bar type of vibe but also with an oyster bar. We had the fried calamari and shrimp and crab egg rolls. They were so good, especially the egg rolls. The rolls were well stuffed with shrimp and crab. I ordered the grilled Chesapeake rockfish and it was amazing. The fish, brussel sprouts, and sweet potato mash went so well together. I would have this dish again. Side note: the menu does change every few months. Seafood and shrimp linguine was also ordered. They were decent dishes. I added a picture of a previous fish dish that was really good but wasn't on the menu the last time we went. I will definitely stop by again if in the area."

"Gorgeous establishment, excellent food, and amazing service. Everything we ordered was incredible especially the rickfish and their filet! Desserts were phenomenal - we got cheesecake and the Smith Island Cake and loved both. Would absolutely come again!!"
