"Dr. Tripp is a really terrible provider. Cold, uncaring, dismissive, even borderline disrespectful sometimes. You will not get the treatment you deserve here. Dr. Tripp literally asks me the same series of questions every time I see him, just running down a list. He doesn’t care about anything I say, as long as we are done in about 15 minutes. Twice I had concerns that I wanted to talk to Dr. Tripp about, and each time he told me that he was going to have to pass me off to a different provider. After a while, I learned that in order to get what I needed from Dr. Tripp I simply had to tell him what he wanted to hear. If I didn’t, he tried to pass me off to Western psychiatric hospital. Sorry that is not acceptable to me. it’s almost as if my appointments were taking up too long, more than 15 minutes, and he was just trying to make a quota. This is not proper medical care, Dismissing my concerns, trying to pass me off to other providers. You can definitely do better elsewhere, this is the bottom of the barrel as far as medical care is concerned."

"Better Stories has been an incredibly disappointing psychiatric telehealth service. Dr. Adam C. Tripp seems more focused on profit than patient care, with little effort from him and the nurse practitioner under his supervision. The website is a nightmare to navigate, and scheduling an appointment is a feat in itself. They send a last-minute link via text, and even a slight delay results in rescheduling hassles. The client web portal is a joke, demanding full access to sensitive medical records for service approval. Better Stories primarily offers medication management, but good luck reaching your provider for a timely refill when you run out of pills. Overall, this experience has been terrible, and I strongly advise seeking a psychiatrist elsewhere, though the sad reality is finding a good one accepting new patients is a daunting task. Our healthcare system's shortcomings and the lack of mental health support in the U.S. add to the frustration. I hope the staff at Better Stories takes note of this review and releases me from their services, as this experience deserves the negative feedback it receives."

"I had one great online meeting with a psychiatrist. After that, the connection wouldn’t work for the second meeting and I couldn’t hear or see the psychiatrist. These connection issues were not because of my wifi. Better stories still has been sending me a bill for $130 saying that I missed my meeting. I wrote to better stories and told them about the connection issues but they didn’t reply and have continued sending the bill to me."

"This is the most unfriendly and inaccessible office I have ever worked with. They do not answer the phone and they do not answer emails in a timely manner. If you miss an appointment, you will be put last on the list to reschedule and you will not get the medication refills you need until they deem it reasonable to address your issues. None of the providers they work with list an office phone number or way to access them outside of the practice website and general practice email. Edit: I was forcibly discharged for writing this review and making my concerns known to their office"

"Dr. Tripp and the clinicians at Better Stories are wonderful at assessing, diagnosing and developing a comprehensive care plan for treating the client's mental health needs. As a mental health clinician, Better Stories is who I refer my clients to because of not only their abilities as a treatment team but also because I find that they do not overprescribe medications, they take time to listen and address the clients concerns and actively communicate with me throughout the treatment process. Overall as a practice they are very welcoming and attentive to individual needs and from a clinical stand point, I thoroughly trust their clinical judgements."
