"This apartment is quite frankly - trash. It put up a good front when we first looked into it. Being here almost 2 years now, in the first year - our dryer broke. Our lamps fell out of the ceiling leaving wires hanging, our nobs came off all the cabinets just by simply opening them (maintenance said win yea there’s nothing we can do the knobs are too short for the doors)our lamps also shake when the people upstairs walk so I had to place reinforcement on the glass (sounded like an entire cabinet of china was shaking), our tub broke (the lever to make hot and cold just spun in circles) the gate is NEVER operating in parking lot, the light bulbs were out for weeks in our hallways making it pitch dark to walk, black rust holes are starting to show up in our tub which was clearly hidden when we rented, the bathroom constantly has black guck on faucets and toilets even if cleaning every damn day, every outlet in the place SUCKS the plugs fall right out (when your vacuuming it NEVER stays plugged in). Our washer is definitely going it’s so loud anymore and I know it’s going to break. Our blinds broke in our living room - for a month they wouldn’t open or close. They came out and “semi” replaced them and they’re right back to being broken again - can’t open and close and blinds constantly falling. I had my father fix all of the above because it’s totally unfair that within the first year I would’ve needed a Maintenance man in my home every week. It’s bullshit. Don’t even get me started on how thin the walls are. You hear people talking while you’re in your bathroom, as mentioned before we’ve had multiple tenants upstairs and when people walk the entire ceiling shakes. When we are in bed we hear our upstairs neighbors TV and when they cough!!!!! We never got to utilize our front porch because it’s covered in dirt from the landscapers they have working. Even my outdoor furniture. I asked for it to be power washed and they told me it would be $50 LOL. Guess I’ll never sit out there. The carpet to the bedroom does not have a ledge so it’s just a frayed mess. And I hope you don’t look forward to Sundays to relax - a church across the street has 100 people every week, blast music and shout on microphones. Cool. Can’t wait to move in June."
"Beautiful moldy apartment.. that’s about it. I am truly disappointed. Saddened as we were one of the 1st families to move in. Have had mold since 2017. Was pretty bad. The exterior wall in the master bedroom and bathroom were always were always wet. My daughters bathroom was horrific. They said it was the drain and we didn’t close the windows properly. LIES. We couldn’t believe management and maintenance blamed us for the mold. All of which is inaccurate. We were not the cause. This company does NOT care about it tenants. My cries about living in a mold infested inhabitable apartment fell on deaf ears. No on cared. But they do care about receiving rent payments. When I threatened not to pay the rent until the issue got resolved the leasing office said the mold had nothing to do with my rent.. pay my rent or they’ll have to take me to court. So fast forward to 2020 this issue is just now being resolved. update.. Let's be honest here. The issue was/is the same.. It wasn't properly diagnosed nor resolved at the time and had progressively gotten worse. Your guys focused on what they felt was the worse of it and ignored the rest. Its either they were not thorough or just didn't know what to look for so they couldn't find the problem and that's alright but don't say something was resolved that was not. They put a bandaid on it. The recommendations the mold remedial specialist said he was going to make and what was decided by the maintenance supervisor were different than what was done. Had the bathroom ceiling been replaced or even if they put a hole in it to double check as I was told instead of surface stuff the leak from the upstairs bathroom would have been discovered and the mold issue would have been solved there. No one checked for window leaks last year nor a few weeks ago. They kept saying the spout was the problem same as last year. When a different set of guys came last week they came to work on the spout.. until I showed them what I've been showing and telling the other guys.. explained bleach and vinegar was sprayed again, my carpet was pulled up, FLEXSEAL sprayed in my bedroom and a fan used to dry the carpet. I had to leave in the middle of night, we woke up with migraines as the odor was too strong. They listened, made a few observations and decided the outside drain was not the issue. They immediately knew what the issues were but to be sure they did some different things the others didn't and discovered the issues and guess what.. I'm no longer getting water in my apartment.. my windows and floors are no longer wet. All the windows needed were some caulking, I share a wall with the electric boxes that needed caulking as well.. no one ever checked those types of things at all. Honestly, I wouldn't be so angry if your company didn't always minimize things and pass the buck. It's shame I had to give bad reviews for someone to reach out. I fully expect someone from your company will reach out to me via email email and not in a public forum again."
"Just be aware of "GOTCHA". No matter how clean the carpets, you must have the carpet cleaned by "professional" carpet cleaner or you will be charged $65 per room, prior to moving out. Their Move-Out checklist does not EXPLICITLY indicates that it has to be done."
