"After witnessing my close friend be approved for an apartment after waiting for over 6 years. She was told a room was available. She was showed the room and was told that by the following wendsday things would be ready. They never were and there was no communications untill the manager called back screaming obsentities and telling my friend she was now denied housing. She was discriminated against based on age and disability. This place needs to be investigate for further investigated for fraudulent activities!!!!"
"Moreland Towers current office managers are horrifyingly discriminative due to my age and disability. They're difficult to get ahold of on the phone or email and often close the office without explanation. They first accepted me for disability housing on december 29, 2023 after applying initially in jan 2017, 6 years ago. I signed the move in paperwork in person in the Moreland Towers office on january 3 2023 after i was shown the studio apt #209 that was allegedly going to be mine. I was shocked today when the office called me at 11am aggressively screaming obscenities loudly at me, told me i was denied housing with no reason and then hung up on me. I tried calling back but the secretary kept saying the office manager was not available. I was strung along for weeks, after waiting for 6 years, with excuse after excuse as to why i couldnt move in yet including the "system being down." I asked in 5 different emails for all paperwork i signed on jan 3 2023 and today had to have police escort me in order to get copies of my paperwork due to the level of aggression spoken to me with earlier. The current office management of Moreland Towers is abusing and mismanaging their authority. I am reporting this matter to everyone necessary including HUD, Fair housing and Congresswoman Dean. This is a complete violation of my human rights and i will not settle for it. Period."
