"I have been here for a few yrs and without Michelle helping me and my daughter I don’t know where we would be most of the ppl are very nice but you a lot of ppl but you have some ppl who don’t follow rules of the building and what’s worst is when you can sit here and lie on the manager when she goes above and beyond for everyone it’s sad this is such a beautiful place but we end of with ungrateful ppl in here and this is for you Ryan aren’t you racist? How dare you come on here talking about Michelle when you have no ground of doing so!!!! It’s so bad living here but you stayed almost 3yrs tho right? Only bad that was here was you‼️‼️‼️‼️"
"We were so happy to live there almost 3 years. Michele is the best lady I have ever seen. She organized very nice activities for tenants, especially kids. And most of neighbors are so polite and friendly. However a few of them are racist. I know that the walls are like paper so you can hear what your neighbors talk. But it is not our fault. I would like to write something about the person who blame us and our kids and also he left comment over here. I don’t want to use his name but he was our next door neighbor. He was one of the most racist people I've encountered in the U.S.during 10 years. He accused my children of playing musical instruments at 6 am, leaving a note with offensive sentences on our door. However, my kids go to bed at 8 and wake up at 7. He and his hysterical girlfriend played video games watching movies until midnight, were making various loud noises, claiming it's sound design. I googled that he was voice acting. We never once knocked on their door to ask what they were doing at midnight. However my child was waking up in fear at midnight. He never says hello to us and would look at us as if we were bugs. He would change his path to avoid taking the elevator with us, simply because we were not American. Yet, both my spouse and I are among the most educated individuals. And we never responded negatively to his and his girlfriend behaviors."
"Bats, Harassment, Favoritism, and the Laziest Manager I’ve Ever Seen I genuinely don’t even know where to begin with how atrocious these buildings are. I guess start with the good? Because I can get through that VERY quickly. The apartments look nice. The tall windows are great for natural light. Appliances claim to be new, yet our dishwasher broke within the first year. And there’s plenty of parking. That’s about it. Onto the bad. Let’s start with the manager, Michelle Roody. It’s shocking how someone can manage an apartment complex this poorly. She is consistently a year or two behind on mandatory paperwork. To the point where we didn’t even have a current lease signed when we left. Michelle is incredibly rude and plays favorites among the residents. We had a noise issue with our neighbors when we moved in. Kids screaming and playing instruments directly behind our bedroom wall at 6am on a consistent basis. When we emailed to complain, Michelle informed us to “go speak with them and discuss it, they’re good people”. However, when teenagers were harassing the top floor, slamming on doors, and scaring children/pets, I was able to follow them down to their apartment and confront their parents. Michelle informed us to “never speak to other tenants” and “always go through her with issues”. So, which is it, Michelle? There is ZERO security and privacy within these buildings. Tenants let anyone and everyone in through the main doors and back doors, hold the door for strangers, and will buzz anyone in. And you better PRAY you have decent, quiet neighbors (highly unlikely) because you will hear every last word they speak, every tv show they watch, their children screaming, kids raging at their video games, and even residents getting down and dirty. You’re going to hear it all, so be prepared. Maintenance is useless. Never prepared for the weather, never get anything done. In 3 years of living there, we saw 4 different maintenance workers. Good luck getting anything done or fixed. Speaking of fixing, the elevator breaks about once a month. You better hope you aren’t on it when it does. Cleaning crew does nothing. Cigarettes littered throughout the halls, trash everywhere, they can’t keep a single section of this building clean because no one cares. And that’s entirely due to Michelle not hiring the right people or even remotely enforcing any rules in the buildings. And last but DEFINITELY not least. Be ready for bats! :) We had 5 separate occasions where bats were in our bedroom over the 3 years we were there. Not a single thing was done about it. Maintenance came an HOUR LATER after we called the emergency line and by then it was gone. Michelle is too lazy to do anything about them, or even show any sign of concern for her residences, so we were not provided a new place to stay or a hotel until the bats were removed. And guess what? They still aren’t. If you’re lucky enough to get a top floor apartment, or one with the old elevator shaft, be prepared to share some nights with bats flying over your head. If you DESPERATELY need the reduced, “fixed rent” (they’ve raised it every year), then by all means, I wish you the best of luck. To everyone else, I beg of you, for your sanity and safety, stay as far away from Michelle Roody and Century Sunrise as you possibly can."
"The biggest issue I have is a lady by the name Michelle Roody, because she has terminated leases of people I know just to get people in who will pay more for rent. Other issues are that the walls are paper thin, disabled people get targeted the most for stuff, roach and bed bug problems, hallways never getting clean and tenants leaving their trash everywhere allowing the bug problem to be out of control. Over all don't waste your money on this place and the corrupt lazy people that own it."
"Apartments are nice and affordable. depending on what apartment you get. Some of the neighbors have no respect and are loud while others are kind and for the most part keep to themselves. Walls are paper thin so you will hear everything the neighbors are doing hallways always smell like smoke which is gross! Elevator could be cleaned better. The manager never seems to be in the building, So if you are looking for help dont bother calling or going in because they are never there. lots of parking but some the area where there is parking is just empty space The owners if you are reading this should block some of that off behind the 139 building and make a closed outdoor sitting area for maybe the older residents or ones with kids to enjoy instead of it just being a empty parking lot most of the time Its a bore but it would be so nice to have some place to go and get some sun especially us older residents"
