A broad assortment of paper products that are worthy of capturing your thoughts in ways that the shiny, glossy, big box store products could never compete with. Their assortment is high quality. The physical footprint of the store can fool you in to thinking you'll be in and out of here. You'll find that you can get lost browsing the large assortment and all of the options to chose from that make your expression of thought and creativity unique to you and what you're trying to communicate to the person or audience you're writing to, whether it's a thank you card or something of greater depth and complexity. Be ready to browse!!"

"A very cool store in Old Town Alexandria. This was a diamond in the rough, a lagniappe, an unexpected and pleasant find as we were visiting Old Town Alexandria. This is one of the many stores on King Street. It is located on the south side of the street between a boutique and a Mexican restaurant. The shop has a LOT of items in it. As you enter there is a ramp with some of their sales right by the entrance. If it is made with paper I believe that they have it or can get it. They have an entire display of different wrapping paper designs, a cutting station, writing implements, supplies for journaling and the list goes on. Their Facebook site states, “We inspire you to Do Something Creative Every Day!” and I believe it. It looks like they have tried to make it accessible for all. It seemed that they had something for everyone. I could have spent a fair amount of time just looking at all of the varied items in the store. The store was very clean even though it seemed pretty busy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The prices were reasonable for items in the store. Overall, a really neat store that certainly inspired me to do something creative and write this review. I hope it inspires you if you choose to visit the store."

"The Paper Source on King Street in Old Town Alexandria is a wonderful store. I purchased lovely thank you notes stationery today. There was so much to choose from and all of it high quality. The clerk was cheerful and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. Definitely going there again!"
