"We moved in mid-December so it’s barely been one month of living here. At move in, none of our cabinets operated properly. Some are slow close, some slam shut, one didn’t even have hardware on it to open it with. Our dryer sounds like a rocket is taking off every time we use it so we refrain from doing so as long as we can. A future issue may be parking. There doesn’t appear to be sufficient parking around our unit and if the building becomes much fuller I do not know how we will be able to find parking spots. Maybe they assume more people will opt in to pay $75 a month for the indoor parking and I sure hope so but eventually they may need to address this and create more parking. Unfortunately, management has been incredibly unhelpful and bothersome with our renters insurance. We enacted a policy starting our move in day and since then I have gotten emails saying it is insufficient and incorrect. After providing them multiple copies of our ENTIRE policy (and explaining how GEICO underwrites their policies) I have received over 15 emails claiming that we are in violation of our lease agreement and they have now placed a fee charge on our account. They will not remove the fee after my requests to do so and still continue to send me these emails. Our personal liability amount is sufficient to the lease as well as the address for interested party and insurance has done all they can to assist us with providing copies and amending the policy to their wishes. In addition, about two weeks into living here I was showering and the shower head fell and landed on my foot. I just had major knee surgery so this was not very pleasant to deal with. I opened a ticket for maintenance to come fix it and they came very quickly the next day. He was the sweetest man and replaced the shower head for us. While he was here, he explained these units are poorly made and he will likely be back for other things. He stated he has already replaced 6 washer/dryer units and they’ve not even been opened for a full year. This was concerning to say the least. Then our furnace broke. It was 18° outside so we called the emergency line to get someone here to assess what was wrong. They came within an hour and a half and explained he didn’t have the proper tools and needed to go get them. We got a call later explaining he will now be coming back in the morning. From there, we were left in the dark and had to spend the night in our 54° apartment. I called the emergency line again and they said someone would call to discuss putting us up in a hotel for the night and we never got any further communications. It wasn’t until the next morning I had to go to the office and show them we were upset and now both sick that they called for maintenance to come to our unit. This was not a priority and it was incredibly frustrating to say the least. The furnace was fixed the next afternoon after having paid for our dog to go to a nearby daycare as it was too cold for her to stay while we went to work. Now on top of all this, there is now currently a bat in our hallway and we cannot leave until it can be removed. *update* animal control came quickly and removed the bat. When I made the request, I asked to have some form of communication when the situation was resolved since we have had such poor communication thus far (outside of the insurance policy). We received no call and eventually I called the front office to confirm. I am not one to leave scathing google reviews (especially in fear of retaliation) but I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for rentals until they can improve their community operations. We were so excited to move in and absolutely love our actual unit but the management of this complex has not been up to par, especially for the price we pay. The unit is gorgeous and the amenities (once open) will be wonderful to use. If management steps it up and corrects these issues as well as improves their communication, I would absolutely come and change this review but until then this is quite a lot for just one month of living here."

"Toured Felson and had a great experience! The community is still under construction, but you can tell will be beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful! While I won’t be moving to Cranberry like I initially thought, if I were, I would definitely be choosing Felson!"

"Horrible experience random extra charges Horrible construction starting at 6am Apartment complex is not done All amenities are not available Price is above most apartments in area for square footage Free parking offered to some tenants but not others General maintenance not completed, when asked , was handed the supplies to do it myself cigarettes found in apartment Unfinished washer and dryer set up as well as unattached disposal. no ceiling fans or lights in bedrooms Discrimination towards some tenants"

"The Felson Apartments are a Joke! Don’t waste your money. New appliances, and upgrades for apartments that are small and over pricey. You’re better off going to one of the apartment complexes down further into cranberry, PA for bigger space and better scenery. Good Luck folks."

"I moved in about 4 months ago and the Prices for these Apartments are overrated!! Go somewhere else. If you can! Management Team needs to be more compassionate to there tenants, and properly trained to actually be able to run this community. The advertisements are lies. From move in there were no amenities up and nothing but early morning construction. If you are a minority of any ethnicity DO NOT MOVE HERE !! You will be treated less than everyone else. I have been overcharged for everything since move in, from Trash, Garage parking fees that apparently not all residents are paying!!!, Water fees, and miscellaneous fees that no one can tell me what they are! I requested an early termination of Lease Contract which my lease stated I have that right for one price; however that price was boosted up outrageously and I was given a mediocre excuse on why! After unable to find a new place closer to my New employer I WAS REFUSED TO BE ABLE TO CANCEL the termination notice AND STAY AT THE FELSON! Stated that my apartment was already being rented to another person even before the exact move out date. I was denied canceling after ready to pay for all fees and charges accumulated. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT COMING TO THE FELSON GOOD LUCK! And be prepared for lies and deception from Management Here! Place is still under heavy construction, and most Amenities are up now."
