"Rented from Masada a nice "renovated" apartment. After the first month it all started falling apart including a giant hole in the ceiling in which kept flooding the apartment. I complained multiple times with no response. Called the city inspector and finally heard from the landlord and was giving my money and deposit back to move."

"Very unprofessional. I had to move and ended a lease. I gave the required notice, paid the termination fee, and forfeited the deposit all according to my lease. A month after I had moved out I received a notification from tenant cloud stating my rent was overdue. He never ended the lease. I have tried contacting him via phone, email, and tenant cloud. He has not responded. Know I'm worried this will be reflected on my credit score. Unless you want problems like these, I suggest you rent elsewhere. Stay far, far, away from Masada Properties!"

"I have rented from Masada Properties and they are horrible. I am a quiet person and keep to myself. They said that I'm a horrible tenant. When I went for ERAP, I told them that I was going to file for the emergency rental assistance program. They said they never heard of the program and even took me to court for non payment of rent. I went to the housing stabilization and they showed me the proof that Masada got paid. They like to fish for something wrong. I also found out that the slumlord lives in Naples,FL. I live in an efficiency and he charges $660 a month for rent. That is way to high for an efficiency. If you pay by tenant cloud and he charges you an extra $22 to pay by debit card. If you are late on rent then he charges $50+ for late fees. He is supposed to give people a grace period of 5 days not 1 day. I read the law on that. He will put a stipulation that you can't gave friends over. I feel like I'm living in a sheltered life. Another thing, the closets have no poles to hang up clothes, and the bathrooms are small and have a walk-in shower. The maintenance men will tell them everything even when it wasn't your fault. As far as the heat and air conditioning is concerned, he has no love for his tenants. He would rather they freeze in the winter time or sweat in the summer time. So if I were you, I wouldn't rent from this SLUMLORD at all!!!!!!"

"I would give this "agency" negative reviews if I could. I lived here for a year and it was the worst experience I ever had and made my mental health worsen. They only respond by email and barely respond. Also after I looked at the house and signed the lease he was flirting with me through email and made me uncomfortable. There should be a phone number for tenants to call instead of emailing multiple times with an unprofessional answer. The building was not up to code and the fuse box was in one person's apartment so we literally had to beg the person to fix the fuses or go without power till they got home because the landlord wouldn't respond. It took him over 2 months to respond to fix it and afterwards it still wasn't fixed. You’re not allowed an AC in the summer. A fan wont help in 90+ degree weather. It's also freezing in the winter because he turns the heat as low as possible. The grass wasn't cut for weeks and he ripped out all the grass and put mulch in and it looked terrible. I drive pass there now and the grass and mulch are overgrown and look awful. My neighbor had fleas and it spread to the whole house so I emailed the slumlord and he said "fleas are attracted to food and dirt on the floor we are not responsible for this". No fleas are attracted to people and animals so he blamed me for why I have fleas when I didn't even have pets and it was the new tenant's fault. So I was bitten all over my legs and had to flea bomb my apartment multiples times and they kept coming back. Also I got locked out of my house for 2 days because I locked my keys inside and they didn’t respond. Once they did respond they said they didn't have a spare key for the apartment so I had to manage myself how to get back inside. The slumlord also didn't give me my security deposit back when the lease was up. He's unprofessional and doesn't care about anything but money. He also has over 20 rentals and can't/won't keep up with them. Don’t even bother with this slumlord. It’s miserable literally nothing good has happened here."

"I was scheduled to meet up with them about a property it was a decent price and looked very nice. Our meet up time was at 5:30pm on Thursday October 15, 2020. They emailed me at 10:30 am the same day to tell me when they were going to show it. Well I was waiting up there until 6:30 pm and they never showed. It wasn’t until I read the reviews that I knew they weren’t going to show up. They never responded to my email I sent and I never received a phone number for them to call. I wouldn’t even bother with this piss poor excuse of a rental company. Because if they are willing to not even show up to a viewing is that really someone you would want to rent off of?"
