Reviews
"Great place to work."
"Absolutely excellent attitude, service, product and communication. They went way above and beyond in helping me attain the hardwoods I needed. Steve is an absolute gentleman! When I need hardwoods this is the place I will be coming to. I drove from NYC in April to get the planks I ordered and am so thankful a business like this is around."
"Needs to be blacktopped. Very sloppy driveway"
"Management is terrible as they do not understand the etiquette of "praise in public and punish in private". For example they will have a staff meeting and make it a point to call you out for a mistake in front of all the other staff. Furthermore, they will do this without proof beyond a shadow of a doubt. If they treat their own employees like this it would be hard to believe they treat their customers better. They also violate labor laws by making employees work 10 hour days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 10.25 hour days Tuesday and Thursday but employees are given one ten minute break and a half hour lunch; New York labor law requires all factory workers to be given a meal break no less than 1 hour in duration. If they cannot refrain from breaking labor laws, how could a customer expect them to deliver a quality product? Many boards are warped and of poor quality, yet they are packed as if to be sold to potential and existing customers. Moreover, the saw mill has experienced two fires in less than ten years which speaks volumes as to how little they are concerned with employee safety and human life in general."
