"Very clean and accommodating, single room is very spacious and full of all amenities you’d need, absolutely knocks the the other motels in the area out of the park in terms of price, cleanliness and service. Location is great, off the road a little so no traffic noise bugging you all night. If you’re in need of a place to stay in this area you cannot beat the Lafayette."

"Small and secluded, little run down but i absolutely loved it. Separate smoking room which you dont find anymore, which was great since it rained a lot during my trip. Polite and helpful service. A unique place i will definitely be staying at again in future travels."

"Stayed at this place 4 nights due to an emergency illness in the family. Location was good and the price was fair compared to other overpriced hotels in the area. The room was clean. There was wifi, hot water, a microwave and mini fridge. Jeff was very accomodating, he also let me checkout a few hours late. The housekeeper made sure our room stay cleaned. The place is quiet at night and during the day. Not the fanciest place but kinda cozy for a motel. If you need a clean motel to sleep and shower that's not too expensive in Moundsville WV this is the place."
