"Post Dr. Totlani has been the pediatrician to my three children for the last 10 years. He has always been amazing, but he has absolutely shined throughout this pandemic. Dr. Totlani has gone above and beyond for me and my children to keep them out of an emergency room and still get them the treatment that they need as quickly as possible. Back in April 2020, my 4-year old got hit in the face with a metal baseball bat by accident when his brother was swinging it in the yard. This was the height of the pandemic, only one month after all the shut downs started and Covid was brand new. Dr. Totlani assessed my son via telemedicine. He performed numerous Checks and had me do what was necessary on my end for him to adequately assess him for severe head injury. He then Called and checked on him almost every two hours the rest of the day and the following morning to keep us out of the emergency room when ultimately it wasn’t needed. This morning, my severely asthmatic 9-year-old son woke up unable to speak or breath. He tested positive for covid 19 on a home test and I called an ambulance after not being able to improve his breathing much after two nebulizer treatments. The ambulance swiftly dropped my son into a crowded waiting room at the hospital and left without saying a word. The registrar told us it would likely be about three hours till he would seen. I called Dr. Totlani worried and panicked. He was confident enough in his abilities and mine to have me leave the ER and get on a tele-health visit with my son. He assessed him head to toe and called in all necessary medications to get him out of crisis. We went directly to the pharmacy and within an hour he was stabilized. This is only one example of how this physician's confidence in his own ability and faith in me as a mom has helped me to get the best care possible for my kids. If you are looking for a pediatrician you can't find a better one. I told him today after coming to my rescue AGAIN, that he is a real-life super hero. This is just one story I have about Dr. Totlani but I assure you I have ten more just like it. Today just truly exemplifies who he is as a physician and as a human being. I am forever grateful for him. I am extremely grateful to know I can call on him when I need to the most."
