"You can get me my child back from the state! Can you do that! That's what you can do! Because of the staff at your facility filing lie after lie Judge Brian Johnson took my child. You can Fire the people in these complaints like Resident Wong. Clearly multiple people had issues with her, not just me . You can get me the names of staff I've requested over and over so I can file a complaint againt each person. Do your job!"
"Nightshift Nurse shoved the ENTIRE thermometer probe inside my 5 months rectum 5 times in a row where he was screaming bloody murder! When I told her about it she justified her actions & flat out lied to me that is how you take the rectal temp with that thermometer Then the doctor, Dr.Wong, looked terrified when I spoke with her about it & then she said a quick sorry & sent the same nurse back in. Its the same thermometer that goes under your tongue or under the arm & it never disappears completely under the arm or tongue. I know how to take a rectal thermometer because I take temps as well for a career. Anyone can Google it too!! After reading other reviews before posting mine I'm sure someone will defend this woman after filing a formal report with Lehigh Valley but its ASSAULT with an object that wasn't supposed to disappear in a small 5month old. It seems they only give real people responses when it's a polite review they want to listen to but when there is a real concern they give a generic pre typed response I gave them the consent for treatment not consent to harm my child"
"I never do reviews but after my experience yesterday I wanted to share. It’ll be long but worth the read if you’re considering going here! I was very torn on whether to bring my son here or not due to the reviews. I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. Every single person we encountered was so nice and helpful. I wish I caught the names of the woman who checked us in and the nurses at the desk. The nurse we talked to had such a laid back personality that it made me feel very comfortable. They were clearly very busy and trying their best to get everyone seen. She kept a very close eye on all patients waiting to be seen and as soon as something escalated she pushed to have them be taken back as soon as possible. The woman who took my sons vitals was sweet and took her time and talked to him to make sure he was okay with what she was doing and remained as happy as possible. Once we were in our room, which was actually very nice and spacious, we were met immediately by the CRNP Daniel Davis. He was so nice and informative. He already read through my sons chart and was ready with a treatment plan by the time he saw us. Our nurse, Jess, was so nice and made us feel right at home while we were there. She was empathetic and entertained my son as much as possible while she did what she had to do. We were at the hospital, including in the waiting room, for just under 2 hours. With how many sick children were waiting ahead of us and after seeing these reviews I was shocked to be out so quickly. As a first time mom to a 6 month old, I was so anxious to take him in for his first ER visit. I was worried I would be questioned or judged for anything and everything but instead I was made to feel so comfortable and was even complimented by them. I HIGHLY recommend LV Children’s ER."
"Roxanne Y. Cheung, MD, Meri E. Mackey, PA, and the whole team who worked with my son were fantastic. They were all very friendly and so thorough and patient in finding what was going on with him and in listening to and answering my questions and explaining what was going on. We were there for a total of about 4 hours, but a lot was accomplished in that time, and he received a lot of attention and care. There were no other patients waiting in the waiting room when we were there, so obviously our wait time and total time there was probably on the shorter side of what I can only imagine varies wildly in any ER."
"Went in with very confusing symptoms, Dr Roxanne Cheung diagnosed me with POTS extremely quickly and that has saved me a ton of effort trying to prove my condition to other doctors(not to mention the peace of mind it brought). I have been here multiple times recently and aside from the wait time the staff are generally very nice. A certain PA, however, is very dismissive and doesn't seem very knowledgeable. She said that concussion symptoms can appear a week after initial injury which just isn't true. Overall though, clean, kind and good facilities. The nurses are saints and the doctors know their stuff."
