"There are many things in life that go unnoticed. Among these things, for myself, is the effort put into a vision made real. Effort often gets overshadowed in well-mannered culture for one simple reason: If a patron feels fawned over, they are not comfortable and will likely not participate in the activity they associate with the aforementioned discomfort. Conversely, a well-cultured proprietor knows, every day brings a new light and perspective to all of us. Each bit of our past we drag along with us from day to day, makes fellowship and navigating the days perspective more complex and , oft-times difficult. The past is history, the future a mystery and the present a gift. What better gift to begin your day, or to make a potential path altering decision than a clean and bright space to reflect upon the fork in the road? A place where right or left, yes or no, now or later can be seen in the context of the present. No bird’s eye view, no stressful experience like having a tooth pulled, just a grounding vibe and sometimes a bit of humbling revelation. I find that a cup of coffee next to my muffin with a s’more cookie to pass on is just enough to make that decision to continue my journey. Every now and then a few minutes spent indulging the fantasy of a hooky day, might find me living a fantasy never before possible and moving on to the road less traveled. Some days we have to try, and trial is the only path to success. Error can be found along any path. Stop in and drink deeply, for it would have been folly to not chase the sunny side of life and hazard the risks of a fleeting dream only to ensure no oysters and zero chance of the acquisition of an existential Pearl.
