"Brickmakers is a nice spot to get food after a long walk through the Occoquan Regional Park. It's conveniently located off of the trail and easily accessible. I ordered online. My order didn't take long and it was hot and fresh. The employees were very cool and laid back. The Shrimp Po Boy and fries tasted great. I'd definitely dine here again. It's simple, the service is great, the food is great, and the location can't be beat."
"I enjoyed the view outside of this place. Great location. We took a walk around this place after eating. However, the food was not that great. We ordered Brickmakers Burger, Turkey and Avocado Croissant, and BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza Burger was okay, but the turkey tasted a little bitter and the flatbread pizza was too salty. This was my first time visiting there. I might be there another time because of the beautiful location so I hope the other dishes are tasty"
"Wonderful location overlooking the Occoquan River. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Nice small varied menu with sandwiches, salads, grilled meats and seafood fare. My salad was fresh and delicious. The river view was so peaceful. Lots of free parking , boat launch below Café. Come relax and enjoy."
"The food here is amazing. I don't typically eat meat, but I decided to that day and I was not mad. I loved the fries and would definitely eat them by itself if I didn't want the burger."
"Looking for a place for lunch today, we happened in to Brickmakers Cafe, which is at the Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, VA. At Brickmakers, you order at the front, and they give you a pager. Then when your pager goes off, you pick up your food at the front counter. Brickmakers has an outside eating area, overlooking the Occoquan reservoir. Today everyone was out there because it was a beautiful afternoon. We started with some Fried Calamari strips, which we ordered because they were out of oysters. Calamari strips were very good. For lunch my wife had a turkey and avocado on croissant, which she reported as just fine. I had ham and Swiss on marbled rye. It was good, but a little too much brown mustard for my taste. We washed it all down with water. The counter service was very polite and our food came quick. They were good, standard sandwiches. We weren't going there for a fine culinary experience. We wanted a nice decent lunch, and that's what we got. We would go again."
