"Easy one star for dishonesty and shady charges. I came in here for an oil change on 1/9/23 after scheduling my oil change online, using their $79.95 oil change coupon that they have on their website. After coming in and dropping my car off, I asked the gentleman at the front desk how much is it going to be. The amount he told me was about $125. After showing him my phone and the coupon on it, I told him that I had scheduled my service using the “schedule” button that is right on the top of the coupon and he said that he will change the price and that my car will be ready in about 2 hours. After picking up my car, I was still asked to pay around $125 (can’t remember the exact amount, but it was in that ball park). He showed me a slip of paper saying that the oil change is $79.95 but I have to pay about $45 for “taxes and shop supplies”. Terrible, shady practice. I told him that those charges are bogus, and make no sense, but I did pay for it because I didn’t want to create a scene and was in a rush anyway. Funny thing is, a friend of mine was changing oil on his VW just a week or two before. He tried to use the same coupon when paying, but they said that he had to present the coupon before the service was done and that it’s too late for them to honor it. Guess how much he got charged? Yes, $125. Long story short - these guys will charge you $125 for an oil change regardless, and will not honor a coupon that they advertise on their own website. Don’t plan on ever coming back here. I will rather drive 10 minutes more to the Springfield dealership and get the price advertised on their website."

"Second time coming here for a vehicle, first time was about 6-7 years ago for a CPO 2011 Jetta. Came here again knowing what I wanted to get, a leftover 2019 Jetta R-Line. Had to travel to pick it up as it was located in a garage, but Bernie was awesome with the transportation and helping me leave with what I wanted. Excellent customer service by Bernie...coffee...coffee...and then some water. Excellent guy to talk to, had answers for my questions, and provided exceptional support in helping get the transaction finalized. I would definitely go back for future needs, and hopefully Bernie will still be a part of the team. And I definitely recommend Bernie!"
"This review is for the new car sales experience. Not for maintenance services I purchased my new 2019 Jetta. So far i have owned more than 5 cars in my life and the thing I dislike the most is sales pitch. Kamal is not much of a talker but he is responsive and willing to take care of my questions and needs. No bs. The Jetta trims and options are relatively straightforward compared to bmw and Benz. I negotiated the right price and every thing runs smoothly test drive/finance/signing documents/delivery. All being done within an hour (granted, I negotiated prices through phone calls not in person prior). Happy with my car and service."
"I have been bringing my vehicle here for 7 years and service is very much dependent on the parts representative. My current service representative is Rick Collins and I am pleased with his professionalism as he seems generally interested in listening to my concerns as a customer and he also seeks to find the best solution by working as a middle man with the mechanic. I asked him to review an extended warranty I purchased and he seemed willing to go the extra mile and assist as much a possible on his end. Also, he assisted by providing a loaner car (which unfortunately are difficult to secure) which helps with the overall process of having one car unexpectedly in the shop. Although there has been much employee turnover in recent years, more often than not I have had positive experiences with Wes Greenway’s Alexandria VW and for that reason I continue to return and would recommend to others reading this review"
