"I got some Starbucks gift cards in my stocking so figured I could have Starbucks while waiting for my flight cause I never go, but wanted to use the gift cards. I stood in line for a while and there were employees running all behind the counter doing stuff but no one actually taking the orders anymore. After a while I ended up getting out of line."

"Highly do not recommend if you have a choice. I came in with a pleasant demeanor and had a basic question about my order. Both baristas were so rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful that I decided not to give them my business and order somewhere else...."

"My husband and I have a long layover. I ordered here at the start, two drinks and two croissants, one ham and cheese, one chocolate. I got the drinks, kept waiting, and then asked, after 7-8 more orders went by, where my food was. The barista turned back and asked "Is anybody on food?" The answer was no. They put the croissants in the warmer right then. Second go, I ordered another drink and another croissant and hour and a half later. I get my drink, stand and wait, and have to ask again where the food is. ....Someone had just left my food on top of one of their drinks making machines. Why? Who knows. But I didn't even get a 'sorry about that ma'am,' she just grabbed it and tossed it on the counter before she turned and left. (And as a bonus: this hot chocolate I'm drinking right now is pretty bland.)"

"The degree to which Starbucks consistently disappoints is truly impressive. Nothing makes me long for the replacement of humans with AI than workers who display such visible contempt for their customers. In truth, I don’t blame them. It is difficult to imagine the management malfeasance necessary be to produce these results."
