"In 2023, I visited over 50 shops. This one takes the cake. Excellent coffee! Great branding. Having empanadas be a staple of your shop is an awesome idea (they’re good!). I don’t live in D.C. area, but I did some research while visiting, and this place had some hype, so I took subways and buses (with my 4month old!) to get here. It was totally worth that adventure. I bought some of their beans from Costa Rica and they did not disappoint!"

"Great coffee place and over all good selection of food items. I went in the christmas eve and the store was closing at 2 PM. I felt the staff was rushing me and not very attentive. In fact I found the service was borderline rude. I did enjoy my Latte and Vegan Empanadas. I would definitely recommend this place and just hope that next time service is better."

"A great local shop! The place was slammed, but the service was still fast and pleasant. I had an oat milk latte that was expertly prepared. Staff was great. I really enjoyed the savory vegan empanadas! While I am not from here, I can tell it is a beloved spot from locals that do."

"5 stars. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. We would recommend the London Eye Latte. Coffee drink with earl grey flavor. Also got the Matcha latte. Nothing to write home about but it was good. Prices were a little steep…~$14 for 2 medium sized drinks. They have almond and oat milk so I appreciate vegan options. The outdoor seating area is really nice. The bathroom was clean. Will be back!"
