Maryland MSF: Myo, Speech, Feeding

"The therapists at Maryland MSF are incredible. We wish we would have found them sooner, but they got us in right away for an evaluation and we were off and running with a tremendous amount of support and guidance. Kara and Katie helped us navigate numerous specialist appointments and were always available. I honestly don't know how they do it. Whenever we needed them, they were there for us. My baby girl and I struggled with breastfeeding and even though we tried every resource available, it wasn't until we met Kara and Katie that we finally found some relief. They take the time to really listen, set goals and exceed them. One of the things I loved during our time at Maryland MSF was that the therapists were able to come to the house when we needed them too. Our baby girl was way more comfortable in her own space. Katie and Kara are a blessing and we know we will always have someone to reach out to."

"Hands down the most amazing therapist we have ever worked with. Kara will look at every option available and study every resource available to her to make sure your child succeeds. She often sacrifices her “off” time looking ways she can help your child learn in other ways . Every session my son had with her she would come up with a new game or a new technique to keep him engaged. She continues to push boundaries and doesn’t settle for average. She is passionate about what she does and she will love your child like her own. Anyone lucky to snag a spot in her business will feel like they’ve won the lottery. I can’t recommend Kara and her practice highly enough."

"My Speech therapist at MSF Speech was wonderful and helped my son improve, however the business and billing model is the worst I have ever experienced. Vanessa with billing is rude and does not return phone calls and emails. Also calling the office to obtain guidance was a lost cause. My referring pediatrician also had difficulty communicating with them in order to get all supporting documents set up. All they have done is blame my insurance company when they are the issue. Steer clear unless you want to pay out of pocket for services. Also they emailed everyone with an incentive to provide good reviews so please take other reviews with a grain of salt."

"I can not say enough wonderful things about Kara and her staff! We have been with Maryland MSF since October 2020 and have seen drastic improvements with our twin girls. They no longer have a speech delay, and are now making progress with Mattea on their pronunciation. Mattea (and Kara) have amazing communication skills, have built wonderful relationships with their clients, and are compassionate and thoughtful speech therapists. They continuously prove time and time again that they want nothing but the best for the clients and we can not thank them enough. I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a speech therapist."

"My 2 year old has been going to MSF for 3 months now. He has improved so much with the help of OT and speech. His daycare teachers have also noticed the improvement. My son warmed up quickly to the therapists and he enjoys going every time. The environment is comfortable and inviting for both parents and children. With my husband and myself being military, MSF has been able to tailor our son’s therapy schedule to meet our busy schedules as well. It’s been helpful that Kara can relate to our lives/obstacles since she is a military wife herself. The staff are very responsive and easy to reach if needed."
