"Some therapists are good but some give poor advice. Why would a therapist tell someone they are out of luck and there is nothing they can do to change their situation or life? Thought therapy was to help make someone better not convince them to give up or that they are out of luck. It is almost as they are enabling their clients to continue down their rabbit hole or to just quit. Also, there is supposed to be confidentiality between the patient and therapist, nothing like hearing other people discussing the what was talked about that was supposed to be confidential."
