"The service itself was okay aside from having to wait well beyond my appointment time both times visited. Due to the billing process feeling untrustworthy (Dr. Pegues sent my small balance of $28 to a debt collector after a very short amount of time), I will not be returning. The billing process has been a nightmare. On my second visit, I paid in office the full balance on my account. About 2 months later I received a bill in the mail. Upon calling to inquire, I was not given much information or explanation other than I had to pay. Then about a month later, I received another bill with a different total amount which did not make sense. Within about 3 months after my appt of this process, I got a notification in the mail that a balance of 28 dollars was sent from Dr. Pegues to a debt collector…... In addition to paying the debt collector and the fee that is added due to this (25% of all debts reported is collected and sent to Capital Woman’s Care), I still have a balance I have to pay at Capital Woman’s Care. This feels shady and very offensive my small balance was turned to a debt collector in such short period of time. I’ve never had a debit collector contact me or had anything like this occur at any OBGYN offices I’ve been to. Even the debt collector noted this was strange. I am not sure but I believe it is just this doctor at Capital Women’s Care so please be aware of him if you schedule there."
