"My daughter was enrolled summer of 2016 at the Media location, she loved it! It started off great although some business ways were a little sketchy by the owner Sharnee Woods Summers. The Owner was very unorganized, and sometimes unprofessional in ways she spoke and dealt with the parents and students, in person, phone and social media. Seeing as dealing with a bunch of girls age 8-13 could be a challenge, We still stuck it out with her and the dance class. I even referred three other dancers to the program because I believed in the vision and liked the owner as a person; young, black, female and determined. But later in the year is when most of the conflict arose. The girls had a performance lined up with the 76'ers (scheduled for Feb 2017) that they were not prepared or barely practiced for. On top of that, all the parents were rushed to pay a recital fee of $80 per child by November. By the new year the location of the class was moved abruptly from Media Pa to West Philadelphia, which inconvenience a lot of the parents. The class was cancelled until further notice, then she announced would resume at the new West Philadelphia location. Since then I've reached out to Ms Woods-Summers and received no real explanation or refunds of my recital fees. Today, March 12 2017 I noticed i've been blocked on social media and all my text have been ignored by the owner. I really liked her as a person but business wise she needs help or maybe some business classes, very unprofessional."
