Reviews
"Solid investment advice from my 20 years dealing with the firm, professional financial services and good local people with experience in the industry. If you want someone to answer your calls locally, accountable and professional, Merrill Lynch in Binghamton is well worth consideration in my experience."
"Unfortunately, it seems like I've had a similar experience. Please ask if there is any guarantees about what happens if your managed funds' here loses money. There are some brokers that will not get paid - no commission, etc. if they lose your money which these associates still rack up fees and expemses."
"I've been to the Associates' here and not at all impressed. It's the same cookie-cutter rhetoric in advisement but you pay a premium for the products that they're peddling. It's better to just put a % of your money based on your risk tolerance into an index mutual fund that follows the S&P 500 and/or a S&P 500 if you have a stock portfolio and you're much likely to do much better since you pay minimal for fees vs. these 'Wealth Advisors' which charge a significant fee. Btw, we the taxpayers helped bail out Merryl -free-Lunch. The Treasury - led by then Treasury Secretary Hank- Former Goldman Sachs CEO- Paulsen whom helped broker a deal for Bank of America do a takeover of Merryl Lynch (whom was practically insolvent for$50B because of very risky bets) which likely saved Merryl. So, if the market corrects or crashes, these advisors at Merryl still will likely collect their share of commissions - but should return to you and then some. Is this where you'd like to get advice from?S seems likely much better if you go with Investment advisors. Please do some research - and best of luck investing wisely!"
