"My daughter took lessons with Sammy Zweben before ZZ Dance opened and we were thrilled to follow her there. If you ask my child to review ZZ Dance she will tell you “Miss Sammy is pretty much the best person ever and I wish she could be my teacher for everything.” She truly is one of those special humans that just radiates warmth and positivity and it comes through in so many beautiful ways at ZZ. Since starting there my daughter has had nothing but great experiences with all of the mentors she has worked with and even recently landed her dream role of Matilda in a local community theater after training privately with Miss Hallie, the resident drama instructor! From the inclusivity of the classes to all of the community service to the “words of the month” and just the general positive atmosphere, it really is a great place. In my experience it is rare to find programs and teachers in any field that have that level of caring and compassion but also push and challenge their students at the same time. It’s a delicate balance that ZZ seems to pull off amazingly. At last year’s recital I was blown away. The level of choreography of all of the performances, not just the team dances, was impressive. The overall production of the show was great. All 10 family members that came commented that it was genuinely fun and entertaining all the way through. It was so nice seeing the instructors dance with the team at the end. You could tell not only how very talented they all are, but that they also enjoy what they do, which is another combination you don’t always find. I really can’t say enough good things about ZZ. I am so happy we found Sammy Zweben and that she built such a special community. We feel lucky to be a part of it."
