"The owners and staff are amazing. They take amazing care to the children. I can’t say enough great things about them!"
"I wouldn't recommend enrolling your kids there. We had our kid staying there for about 6 months and it was the only place with availability - so we didn't have a choice. Communication is not good, they use a Facebook friend page instead of a business page and the owner just posts pictures of herself on there instead of pictures of the kids. The daycare is like always closed for random days or for no reasons. We always had to take time off work to accommodate. Turn over in workers was frequent. The biggest red flag is that you cannot step into the facility at all. You can't see what is going on, you don't get any daily report (the one they give is generic with no information) and the owner bottlenecks all the information to herself but when you ask questions she never knows because the "teacher left". They run multiple businesses at this location, there is a limo renting business too. it's really weird. The owner loves to park her rundown "fancy" car into the toddler drop-off spot in the morning to make it convenient to everyone."
"Please stay away from this place! People there have no clue how to take care of the children. If you want your child to be in a safe an loving enviroment please find another place. My son has a trauma because of this daycare. I will be reporting this place to make sure they are taken the rights to take care of children."
"We love Cookies N Milk. Our son has been going there for four months now and I can tell he has learned a lot. His teachers really care about him and want him to have a good day. He loves giving us his daily report card that he gets every day!"
"The one good thing I can say is that the girls seemed very happy for the several months that they were enrolled - gosh is important, of course. However, we weren't there long before Shaniek took our money and refused to care for our girls claiming a 3 no call, no show policy that was never disclosed verbally or in the parent handbook. We paid for 2 weeks of care that our girls were sick (sent home from Cookies N Milk so Cookies N Milk was aware of the illness). Cookies N Milk was closed for vacation the following week and we were on vacation the next week. However, we paid for all 4 weeks in order to keep our girls enrolled (as we should have). Additionally, we paid for the following 2 weeks but when we arrived to drop our girls off after our vacation, Shaniek came out with their belongings and told me she had filled their spots because of the 3 no call, no show rule (the one that she made up arbitrarily to get rid of us for reasons I still don't know). So, she had my money for that week and the following week but refused to care for my children. I never received a call, text, email, or any other form of communication prior to me dropping the girls off. In the months that our girls were enrolled, never once did anyone mention to me that I needed to call when the girls would be absent. When I asked for my money back, she blew me off stating she would ask her accountant - ironic as I assume that she is her own "accountant" judging by the errors made in invoicing and lack of providing annual reports to the state. West Virginia code also requires 2 week notice of termination of enrollment. Shaniek gave me zero notice that there was a problem at all. We were completely blindsided with absolutely no plan in place for childcare moving forward. Ironic when Shaniek's "accountant" incorrectly billed me in their favor twice, Shaniek was really quick to expect me to overlook the errorz, but she allows zero tolerance for people not following her arbitrary policies. Absolutely zero professionalism or consideration."
