I have been a patient of his practice for years, and although he specializes in gum surgery and dental implants, I go to him for everything because I feel super comfortable with him and his staff. They are kind and gentle with me always. By far Dr. D is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had."

"Lack of professionalism and follow through. Was told multiple times the Doctor would reach out personally to advise on treatment plan and it’s been over 4 months and multiple calls and emails I have made yet no one follows up. I wanted a printed treatment plan emailed at the least and don’t see why no has called or emailed. The doctor himself said a treatment plan would be discussed within 2 weeks after the 3-D model is analyzed and then after multiple calls I find out it’s delayed by the lab. But even after the delay they stated the doctor has a treatment and will inform us of the plan and I’m yet to see or hear from them. Thoroughly disappointed"

"I had a wonderful and rare experience using Dr. Doppalpudi in Herndon, Va. Previously I used another dentist who recommended work on about seven teeth at a cost of $7,700. I got that estimate after hounding that dentist's office & getting it only 2 days before my appointment for the planned work. I said I needed a second option, and saw Dr. "D" as he's called. To my surprise he said none of the work was needed now or maybe even later, that it wouldn't have been effective. Wow, I never heard before. Dr. "D" was very careful not to cast aspersions, but it seemed to me that my prior dentist was trying to increase his revenue at my expense. I found Dr. D very professional and was impressed he was honest with me. When I need perio-dontal work done it'll definitely be done by him. His manner is very patient-oriented, his credentials are impressive, and his staff seem to adore him."

"I was looking for Dr. D's contact info and realized I hadn't put a review of my visits on Google. In my many years of seeing dentists, I've never seen one as competent as Dr. Doppalapudii. He's also solicitous, quick but never rushed, with an organized staff that seems never to keep anyone waiting. In one instance, I had an inferior dentist do a root canal on a tooth that he should have known couldn't be saved. I went to Dr. D, he pulled it, did a bone graft, then an implant, and now I await a crown. My regret is that he doesn't do every single procedure so I wouldn't have to see anyone else."
