"If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your spouse, how about dance lessons? I saw an ad a few years back for a couples dance class, something different to do for Valentine’s Day. At first my husband was reluctant to go, but was willing to give it a try. Now years later, we are taking lessons with Marie, of Marie’s Dance Center. Marie is a true dance professional sharing her knowledge and skills. She teaches both the male and females steps and dances with both of us so we understand the “lead” and “follow”. Marie has a great personality keeping the lessons upbeat and fun while explaining the nuances of the dances we are learning, all with the patience of a Saint. Our initial goal was to learn The Waltz to dance at our son’s wedding, which was well received by our guests! A year later, we look forward to our weekly lessons with Marie and would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn how to dance!"
