"Supervisor " told me he didn't want to go through inconveniences of pulling permit. I paid anyway. Just to feel safe. My home is very old. I have 4 outlets on my kitchen counter that do not work. I use many extension cords. They did a good job. Whole house is grounded with new panel."

"We had an intermittent issue that would come and go for a long time which prompted us to have several electricians out. Walter Electric had good reviews on Google so I decided to give them a shot and I'm glad I did. Tony came out and identified the issues based on the symptoms I described. We called BGE and he explained the issue to them. They verified and confirmed the potential problem. Took BGE 8 hours to locate and fix the issue which turned out to be exactly what Tony thought it was. I would have saved a lot of money if I had called here first."

"Wow! I can't say enough about the wonderful team at Walter Electric! I called first thing on Monday and was delighted to hear that I could get a same day appointment for my my somewhat urgent, but not emergency electrical issue. I spoke with Ariel, and he was very professional and gave me answers to all of my up-front questions. He promissed to have a tech to my home before 5:00 p.m. Imagine my surprise when I got a call back in about an hour, saying that the tech had finished a job and was on his way to me - in about 30 minutes! John arrived and got right to work. He knew immediately what was the trouble was with my burned out electric plug and switch and fixed it immediately. While he was there, we also asked for a quote for a future project we are anticipating in the near future. He was super professional, answered all of our questions and even took the time to show and explain the damaged wiring that he repaired. Why can't all service technicians and companies be as prompt, courteous and knowledgable? My expectations have been far exceeded and I called back after the tech left, to praise him and then I ASKED for the opportuity to leave this review! This all happened on a Monday. Yesterday we bought a new ceiling fan and after taking down the old one, decided to call Walter Electric again, to see if they could install it for us. They were really rasonable for the urgent reapir we had previously, so we felt it would be worth our money to have a professional install the new ceiling fan, saving us the time and frustration of worrying if we would get all the wiring right, given the sometimes crazy wiring done in a 1970's construction home. Tony was our techician today. He was just as professional and helpful as John. He had the new ceiling fan installed and operating in about 20 minutes! Honestly, it would have taken me and my husband together over an hour to get it done, and then we would have been wondering if it was done correctly. I have seen the red Walter Electric trucks in my neighborhood over the years, so I knew the name and I had heard that they have a great reputation, now I know why. I have added their number to my phone contacts and I will call Walter Electric for any of my future electric repairs/installations. This is an honest review and if you are like me...and read reviews before hiring a professional...I hope you too will call Walter Electric!"

"What can I say other than how great these guys/ladies are. Responsive by phone when you need consults and looking for records of work. Professional and polite throughout interactions. Patient with clients and happy to help educate about work that’s been done as well as anything found. Cost effective but at no cost to quality! I have had no bad experience but most recently having worked with Bill, I had to write a review. As an owner of an old home I can attest that it is hard to find experienced contractors of any sort to perform reliable work. I will continue to use Walter for all of my electrica needs and would recommend them to anyone else who needs electrical work big or small. Thanks again Walter Electric!"
