"The company's best tech came after multiple tries. He reached our house on March 27th and told us that the parts will be ordered. Tech said the parts should arrive in 10 days. We called the office line for an update after 2 weeks about 80 times, no luck, called the tech who came to our house about 50 times, no one will pick our call or has the common courtesy to inform us so we are not waiting from the company to reach. Yes, they were paid for it. We came to know on April 28th, 2020 from the third-party source they decided to shut the business down temporarily. Stay away."
"If I could give less stars I would. This company came out, made a repair. The repair was not done correctly. We had a second company out to complete the repair. Contacted American Appliance. He tried to get us off the phone asap and said he would reimburse whatever we had to pay to get it done. ( Less then he charged originally) We sent the invoice and he stopped answering our call. Then finally answered and said he would be mailing the check. Never got the check. Called and called. His phone is now disconnected!"
"I did not choose this company. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company. American Appliance Repair was extremely non responsive. I had to make multiple phone calls before they answered. After diagnosing my issue they said they would return to make the repair. A month later I still hadn’t heard from them. In fact my home warranty company also tried to call them and they did not answer. When they finally did, they immediately scheduled my appointment. Ergo, you were ready but never called me (the customer) to set up the appointment. I set it up from 1 - 4 pm and on the day of they claimed they had my window from 2 - 5 pm. All in all, my experience with their customer service has been terrible. I’m extremely dissatisfied. If they had been waiting for my parts all along, they could at least let me know that they were working on it. When they finally did “repair” my items a month later, I found out two days later that the washer wasn’t fixed. I would not recommend them to anyone."
"I called and scheduled an appointment with this company. The time frame was close to ending so I called to ask what time are you coming? The guy said, "oh your appointment is scheduled for tomorrow" (Sunday 10am-1pm). I know the initial appointment was Saturday 11-2 because I wrote it down. I said, "okay fine". Of course he didn't show up then either. I only call them because American Home Shield uses them (so they came because of the contract). Their customer service is substandard, find another company."
"Please dont use this company. I called them out to fix my washing machine about a balancing issue. They replaced the drain pump for $284 but when that did not fix the issue they said they would have to research it and call me back. No call back was ever made. I worked fro several days to get someone on the phone only to be told that I would have to talk to the owner, who not there. I called back every hour until He was available and was told that they would refund my money if I could prove that another company had fixed my issue. Another company told me that the repair would be more than the cost of a new machine and that was not put on an invoice so of course no refund. By the end of the call I was told that they would not deposit my check and also told that they would give me a refund minus the service fee of $145 . I am not sure which one he will actually do. I asked for the owners name, business address and business license number. The name provided was Muzammil (no last name given). He would not give the other information. My husband drove my the address listed online and it was a home residence. I have reported the to the BBB."
